Stub to Start-Class upgrading instructions
[edit]To contribute in upgrading this stub article to Start class, the following requirements must be met:
- Significant intro (Name or names of the aircraft, engine or company, purpose, significance, nationality or location, why it was developed or organization formed and if appropriate: the manufacturer, general configuration, major categories (ie fighter/bomber/radial/inline etc etc), major dates - ie first use, first flight, service entry, retirement, number built, .)
- An appropriate infobox ({{Infobox Aircraft Type}}, {{Infobox Airline}}, etc.)
- Picture: Consult WikiProject Free Images for freely relevant free images. Non-free and unlicensed images are to be avoided if at all possible, but if used should include a detailed fair use rationale. (An image is not required for start class if unavailable.)
- History
- At least two other developed sections of information (x, y, etc.)
- Categories (by year, country, etc.)

- It should already have a developed intro, infobox, image(s), and adequate categorization.
- Statements that may be questioned by a reader over their verifiability must be referenced with an inline citation, preferably using citation templates. Cite any quotes, box office figures, movie reviews, production notes, and any questionable statements.
- The article should be free of major grammatical errors. Follow the guidelines of the Manual of Style. Consider having the article reviewed by another WP:AVIATION member and/or the League of Copyeditors.
- The article should be broad in coverage, and should have multiple sections of information. Remember to cite information within these sections.

- 2. Coverage and accuracy: It reasonably covers the topic, and does not contain major omissions or inaccuracies.
- 3. Structure: It has a defined structure, including a lead section and one or more sections of content.
