- The reviewers comments were terse and not helpful. I asked both reviewers for more specific feedback and never heard from either one. I do volunteer editing for medical journals and I always make my feedback specific and point authors toward ways they can improve their work. If editors are not willing to do this, they should not serve as editors.

Feedback from Mhplayme1 (22 March 2017)
- Did you find the instructions clear?
- Yes, the feedback I received recommending me to write my article in a more "encyclopedic" style was very helpful and I read your reference info that helped me improve with that. Also, the suggestions regarding notability and providing citations supporting notability and the facts in my article were very helpful.
- How quickly was your submission reviewed?
- I believe I submitted my article four times. The first two rejections took about 3 - 5 days, the third rejection took 4 hours (red-flagged my lack of citations), and then the final and approved submission took 30 days (I think I checked about every couple hours the last two weeks to see if there was news).
- Do you have any suggestions to improve the process?
- Thank you very much for keeping my Draft article alive over the nearly 4 years I took writing and submitting this. It was nice to know I could open it up and work on it some more almost any time during that time. It did get archived once for inactivity but when I sent a request to re-activate it the response was quick and very satisfactory as I was then able to continue working on it.
Between the extensive reference info you have on line and then reading other articles to compare with mine, I was able to find the information I needed to complete it. It took me a little bit to figure out the citation system and notations but then that was really easier than I had feared. Along the way a couple photos dropped off, and prior to my final submittal I looked at adding one back in but got confused with the procedure for doing so and wound up not adding it, but that's okay.
I think the concept of Wikipedia and the way you implement it are wonderful. It is a fantastic resource. And, your controls for writing format and style, citations/references for verification of the information in the articles, and the feedback you provide are all outstanding. The only question I still have (other than re-familiarizing myself with the process for attaching photos) is whether or not written correspondence can be used for citations. For example, the subject of my article has typewritten letters informing him of awards he won -- are these satisfactory as citations, and if so, how should these be footnoted in the article?
Thanks again for all your support, feedback, and for making Wikipedia such a wonderful and tremendously credible resource!
Michael

- Did you find the instructions clear?
- I created an article for Wikipedia for the first time, Operations Management for Services. As a retired professor, I am quite used to writing articles with complete referencing and content for publication. It was difficult to find instructions on how to create a Wikipedia article since I didn't know where to look or who to contact. By trial-and-error I stumbled across a Wikipedia piece on how to create a new article. My first thought was that I should write a word document and Wikipedia would post it as an article. Then I found out I should use the online editor to create the document, after establishing an account. When I first used the editor I was in the source editing mode and frustrated that I didn't have "wysiwyg". I didn't realize there was visual editing until I stumbled across the little pencil drop-down menu at the top. I also learned by trial-and-error the method for inserting references and the method for adding photos when I finally found the png format worked, but jpeg didn't. So, you can see the learning process was difficult and I expect most first time users experience roughly the same thing. The instructions were clear once I stumbled across them or eventually found the TeaHouse which answered some of my questions. You should consider how to guide first time users to find the basics or put a video online to explain these things to first-time users as a required portal of entry before writing anything. I would be happy to work on such a youtube video or written document as a must read document describing these common problems, before writing or editing Wikipedia for the fist time.
- How quickly was your submission reviewed?
- The review process was another surprise. I submitted my article from my sandbox and someone put it up as a draft article with a review submit button that I could use. I didn't know this is how it worked, so I pressed the button only to find out there were 300+ articles in the queue ahead of me. Nevertheless, I got a rejection back within a week that said essentially that my article was too academic with opinions and needed to be more factual as a bibliographic article. This review was very helpful and accurate. I changed the wording and sent it back the next day by pressing the review button again. Then within another week I got a review from another completely different reviewer who said my article was too similar to one already on Wikipedia. I subsequently explained the differences and that reviewer conceded the point and said, go ahead and ask someone else to review it. So, I decided to go back to the first reviewer using his/her talk page. Some additional feedback was given by this reviewer on writing a few lead paragraphs which was standard procedure, but unknown to me. That reviewer also asked me to add isbn numbers to references when possible and make some other format changes. Another three weeks passed with no response and several inquiries from me on the status. The reviewer finally said, I should push the review button to get another review. I thought, "oh, no not another third reviewer." From his talk page I said, "I made all the changes you suggested so can't you just give the article a final review." At that point the reviewer understood that I didn't want yet a third reviewer and simply accepted the article after reviewing my changes and a final fixing of the format. I would say the same thing about the review process, I stumbled through it by trial and error.
- Do you have any suggestions to improve the process?
- My one suggestion on reviews is that if an article is submitted for review, the article should stay with the same reviewer throughout the process, unless there is some conflict or a second reviewer is needed. That will speed up the process significantly once the review is started, and insure consistency in the changes requested. If there is a way to do this, I didn't see that option.
I also made a suggestion above about having a single portal for new authors or new contributors to explain how the process works and likely pitfalls. I volunteered to help with this.Rgschroeder12 (talk) 17:15, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

if a user doesn't yet have sources for a proposed article why not send them to draft space instead of just interrupting the work flow? Since it is already formatted for wikipedia, a draft article would be a convenient format for preparing an article and adding sources. Sending the user to drafts space would be more consistent with the 'be bold' policy. Thanks! Domandologo (talk) 14:11, 16 April 2017 (UTC)

- Do you have any suggestions to improve the process? I am a 53 years old African-American, female, business owner who started a small oil and gas consulting business 30 years ago. First I started out as a freelance consultant, then it turned into a small business. I do not have a college degree. I would like a Wikipedia page to tell my story. I think my story warrants publication. Although, I understand I cannot write an article about myself or my company. Many have asked me how I got started. I have been invited to speak to many organizations including the Society of Women Engineers, and to be on a panel guest speaker for MBA students at St. Thomas University. I also wrote an article called, "Shifting Employment Leaves Petroleum Companies In Search of Equilibrium". Written in November 2001. I created my company out of pain and necessity. I just want to leave a message to women who find themselves in my shoe, that they can have a good life even after difficulties and without a college degree. How can I create a Wikipedia page on myself? Barbara A. Ardoin, Houston, TX Email

- Hi -
I had done an article on Sanjib Sahoo, current CIO of XPOLogistics and then a CIO of Trademonster. This article was the first one I ever did and after some revisions I got my article finally approved only to discover the article got deleted later. I am discouraged by this deletion as I have seen similar articles on other technology leaders. I am not an active editor on wiki but experimented with it and wrote about Sanjib as I was inspired by his journey. I like to pursue contributing to wiki but need some help. Can someone assist? I like to the article on Sanjib done again with whatever corrections needed. I might have to fix some language so it doesn't sound like a resume which I can absolutely fix.
Hoping to get a response soon.

Feedback from Dr.khatmando (22 July 2017)
- Did you find the instructions clear?
- Yes the instructions are clear and the process from submission through to publication evident.
- How quickly was your submission reviewed?
- The submission was reviewed three times. The first review took only a week (1st version). The second review took 4 weeks(2nd version), and the 3 review took 3~4 weeks(2nd version). Based on the 2nd (and current version) the article should have been published 2 months ago (and arguably at the first review)
- Do you have any suggestions to improve the process?
- Perhaps administrators who are new to reviewing articles should be closely mentored by a more experienced reviewer. It did seem that these reviewers were rushing through a backlog, and were not giving each article due attention. Unduly rejecting submissions that should have passed does not reduce backlogs, unless the contributor gives up, which would be a shame. Having worked in academia for many years, I understand the pressure to "mark" large volumes of scholarship of differing quality. In academia new university lecturers are left to work out how to assess work by themselves, just like on WP. In K-12 teacher and early career training in countries like Japan, Australia, and some of the US States, new teachers are paired with more experienced teachers, to help with assessment efficiency and quality. The quality of that mentoring relationship is what helps them become more efficientin conducting assessment. Perhaps something similar to that could work for WP, but it would depend on how well effective mentoring relationships could be nurtured. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything about what I've said here. Hope that helps. Cheers, Dr.khatmando (talk) 00:55, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Propaganda Is Agenda Around Pope Francis And MS-13 gang Here is why many people’ affirmative confirmation evolving around the name of China being repeated many times in multiple occasions in the past to current time. Back in my old college days, College Reading Level-II with my Professor Hass helped me along the way in life to deter many things. Especially Big&Large Christian Religion as Catholic Pope Francis has His Propaganda Agenda in people's lives and People' National Governments. Two of many ways of propaganda techniques are deceit people' perception a lot for over half a century are Red-Herring Technique and Straw Attack Technique. Red-Herring Technique is as the Animal with Tail erasing out His Foot imprinted. For one instance, He with His own Catholic Minions marched on into homes oversea both no floor just dirt ground-level and multi-stories (levels of floor) building. Moreover, Catholic Pope Francis passed up right by our U.S. Secret Service Agent, U.S. Special Force, U.S. Undercover Agent, U.S. Top Dog Personnel and Under-Dog Personnel, Several Secret Societies’ Elites Personnel, and U.S. World-Wars and Korean War Veterans. <PRINT: 'My Review,' M.C.pulsetone- 'The Zenith Point Communications.Ltd.U.K./Global.'
Ascetic introvert seeks flamboyant extrovert for religious and spiritual sexual liberation.
Killing Joke are: in my opinion, the most powerful force in nature. I counted my CD collection and I have 32 releases; that's not to mention all of my vinyl, including multifarious EP's with exclusive dance and extended remixes dating from the mid-eighties. They are the one band to remain consistent in output; they have passed through punk-rock; gothic and several other genres and have released albums and EP's all along the way.
Having had the pleasure to see them perform many times live; I picked up on the band-waggon in 1991 when I was still at an impressionable age and I was struck by the rantings of vocalist Jaz Coleman as he urged onlookers to close their eyes-to see better, which of course I did and in turn blacked-out as my retina adjusted to the pulsating strobe light which kept rhythm to the sound of 'tension.' The message resoundingly adamant that we should all, 'be human!' This was of course the legendary tour from the 'Extremeties, Dirt & Various Repressed Emotions' album: the most hardcore and under-rated double album in their careers so far.
I remember wondering what this 'lunatic' was talking about...this was 'The Gulf War Dance in Manchester at The International II' and the Government had just announced that we were about to be going in to War with Iraq. Black-market copies of this performance could be found. The Killing Joke Finding Service had it but, I unfortunately never got around to purchasing it but, I do have a bootleg recorded in London on the same tour and I also have a copy of a show at the Amsterdam Paradiso which unlike the Finding Service's version boasts full-colour on VHS. I picked them up at Glastonbury Festival of all places, the following year.
I have remained enthralled with the band ever since and have always been present whenever they do a Manchester date and even making it to others too. Having now had the pleasure of meeting the band on a couple of occasions, I feel I have had an insight into the mind's that go to make up this true to its uniqueness and rather awesome sound. From Jaz's apocalyptic and ultimately soul-searching lyrics and vocals to Geordie Walker's steady melodious distorted/flanged finger-picking style layering chord upon discord whilst, the rhythm section pounds with a vehemence distinct and particular to the 'Jokers.'
In 1994 we saw the release of 'Pandemonium,' an album which had 'The Jokers,' collaborating with many dance-outfits such as Cyber-sank: releasing four lots of twin EP's and white-label releases of 'Exorcism' amongst others. Youth's production input at this stage of the developments has surely to be recognised and with the tracks 'Millenium' and 'Pandemonium,' achieving chart positions it has to be noted: Killing Joke have achieved the cult-status they set out to achieve and if you were to check out the 1983 picture-disc interview with Jaz and the boys; it can be audibly heard that Jaz's own point of reference at the time was 'Bowie,' and as he stated then, that's just how big they have always intended to be. With that in mind, I think that they have marketed their selves perfectly for the collector's market. An inexhaustable output of singles; albums and performances dating from 1979 when they recorded memorable Peel Sessions and of course, live 10" single, 'Ha!' (Now available on re-released CD) have stood the test of time!
In regards to the new album, 'Absolute Dissent,' I feel that the sound is maybe not their best but, the album still stands up as being consistent with previous incarnations and of course, yet again seeing the return of Youth on bass guitar. Where most bands struggle to adjust to line-up changes, Killing Joke always rise to the challenge and with the recent demise of Paul Raven having not long since shuttled off this mortal-coil, (R.I.P.) we are sure to see the band returning nostalgically back to a more earthy and punk sound.
Whatever you think of 'The Joker's,' you are sure to find their back-catalogue of work an extremely intense and possibly 'enjoyable?' experience. Having laid down more than most people manage in a lifetime in one afternoon; they will continue to vex and enchant you with every aspect of philosophy ; religion; ethics; politics and even, dare I say it- magick!
With Occult references straight down the line and with solo projects also, Jaz and Geordie have kept interest in the band going where others seem to fizzle away apathetically. I am more than confident that another album will be released, if not next year then, maybe the year after and the influence that they have had on band's as far reaching as Metallica and Nirvana being so pronounced, (Killing Joke having even waged a copyright infringements case against Nirvana for 'come as you are,' arguing that it was replicating the riff from KJ classic, 'Eighties,' we are but, onlookers to these hardened apostles of all that's dark and taboo in modern-day reality and we can but only, wonder what treats they will have for our consumption next...
I still from time to time fall upon another gem and piece of this jigsaw puzzle that I have slowly over the period of twenty years placed together. I don't know whether there is a Noble-prize for making it through three decades of technological developments prophesying upon the impending Armageddon developing in the East but, if there is, Jaz Coleman's name is sure to pop-up somewhere along the line.
With the recent album now seeing a double-release with a version of the album being released with a second disc full of 'cover-versions,' we are sure to be seeing more from this outfit aside from the undoubtedly influential sound and congruence with the 'post-apocalyptic age.' Little is there need for me to add that I patiently wait with bated breath for the announcements of a tour with 'Absolute Dissent,' and hope that it will come sooner rather than later...Love under Law, love under will, Tristan. The man deserves recognition for his work and life. He has sculptures on four continents. It will be a long read, but it was what I intended to post as an article.

- Did you find the instructions clear?
- Yes but I found the process of submission and the rules to do so confusing. Probably just my fault.
- How quickly was your submission reviewed?
faster than I could respond.
- Do you have any suggestions to improve the process?
I would if I really understood it.
I do note that a distant relative in Germany submitted a picture he had to add to the article. I know the painting to be accurate because I have an ancient photo from which it was made in the 19th century. I am not sure if this has been permanently added to the article or how to support his claim.
