08:36:21, 19 May 2021 review of draft by Ctjj.stevenson

[edit]

Ctjj.stevenson (talk) 08:36, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To whom this may concern.

I hope that I am writing to the right people for assistance. I am the creator of the page Draft:Monarchist Society of Canada. It is important to state that I am a founding member of this organisation, yet I do believe that I am writing with a neutral point of view. I am not paid by this organisation, nor will I gain financially by part of it. I will be able to provide all the information required for the opportunity for the acceptance of this page on Wikipedia.

Thank you for your time. Ctjj.stevenson (talk) 08:36, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ctjj.stevenson The draft was declined because it is only sourced to your organization's website. A Wikipedia article must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about an organization, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. Wikipedia is interested in what others say about your organization, not what it wants to say about itself. Please see Your First Article for more information. 331dot (talk) 09:47, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I got paid to write this. What is wrong with my article? BalletDancer15 (talk) 09:40, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@BalletDancer15: We are not interested in a rerun of the Seigenthaler incident. Every claim that could potentially be challenged for any reason what-so-ever MUST be cited to a strong third-party source that corroborates the claim. This is a hard requirement when writing biographical content on Wikipedia and is not negotiable. Half of your four sources are website homepages (which are completely worthless as sources) and the other half have a connexion to subject. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 01:39, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I worked on this article in the past and as new press comes along and new achievements I would like to think I'm working towards getting this page approved and back online as it's a local record label that I really like and feels is notable among indie rock record labels. Is there a reason this article can no longer be worked on and re-submitted? 168.229.254.25 (talk) 12:35, 19 May 2021 (UTC)168.229.254.25[reply]

168.229.254.25 (talk) 12:35, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was rejected as not notable. That's why. "Local" companies or record labels rarely meet the Wikipedia definition of a notable organization, as it requires significant coverage in independent reliable sources of the label itself, not just its musicians. 331dot (talk) 13:16, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

i was working on our community great personalities and i need to publish them as soon as possible to promote people Charankondaveeti (talk) 13:12, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Charankondaveeti Wikipedia has no interest in helping you promote people, whether you work for them or not. If you do work for them, you must review conflict of interest and paid editing immediately. You seem to fundamentally misunderstand what Wikipedia is, please review the five pillars. 331dot (talk) 13:14, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I just received a message from Hoary saying the article that I have submitted was created. I tryed to google it but I can't find it yet. Can you please tell me when the article starts to be visible for others on internet. Thanks

Artrencontre (talk) 13:20, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Artrencontre Assuming that the article is formally marked as reviewed by a patroller, it takes time for search engines to index articles. It can be quickly, but can take a little longer. 331dot (talk) 13:22, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

13:50:51, 19 May 2021 review of draft by Online801

[edit]

This was rejected as an article, but I thought it could be a Stub listed under American Zoologists. I was wondering how to resubmit it as a stub request.

Online801 (talk) 13:50, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Online801 Whether it is a stub or not, this person still needs to meet the notability criteria. The draft currently reads as a resume and not an encyclopedia article that summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to state. Please read Your first article. 331dot (talk) 14:05, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request on 18:24:40, 19 May 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Asifkakepoto

[edit]

Hey, I want an article to be published on this encyclopedia but I still can't get my head around the sources to be included in the article.

Asifkakepoto (talk) 18:24, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Third-party sources that discuss the subject in depth, have proper editorial oversight, and have no direct connexion to the subject. KPTV is the only source that seems to meet these requirements, and that is not enough. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 01:31, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

18:57:32, 19 May 2021 review of submission by EverydayBlogger

[edit]

Hello! I have 7 independent sources for a contribution I've written on a musician. Two of them seem to be blacklisted. Are 5 sources enough? I am allowed to use anything from the artist's self-published website such as bio and early life info? Your help is much appreciated!

Thank you.

EverydayBlogger (talk) 18:57, 19 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(Courtesy link: Draft:Johnny Roars)
Interviews are not acceptable sources in this circumstance and we shouldn't/can't link to, let alone cite, lyrics sites. All of the YouTube videos of his music likewise are unacceptable. The last source, Radio & Music, uses a role byline and is likely a press release or native advertising. None of your sources work to help prove notability or meet our biographical standards. —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 01:27, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
