[edit]Can you tell me why the topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia? Where is the section that i need to improve more in my article? Thank you Dhlamr (talk) 08:04, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Dhlamr You spend very little of your draft talking about the company; most of it talks about the definition of a roof and roofers.(we have an article on Roof and Roofer) The portion about the company only tells about the existence of the company and in a promotional manner(with talk of "legacy" and "journey"). Wikipedia articles must do more than merely tell of the existence of the subject; they must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about (in this case) a company, showing how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Not every company merits a Wikipedia article, even within the same field. Unless independent reliable sources have chosen to give significant coverage to this company("significant coverage" is more than press releases, staff interviews, announcements of routine business transactions, etc.) the company would not merit an article at this time, and no amount of editing can change that.
- If you work for this company, you must make the required paid editing declaration, a Terms of Use requirement. Please also review conflict of interest. 331dot (talk) 09:07, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

My article has not been accepted on the grounds that it would be better incorporated into the article on Catholic Charismatic Renewal. However, there is a separate article on Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Latin America, so I would suggest that it would be acceptable to have my submission as a separate article. If you feel this is not justified, could you please consider merging my article with the main one, as I'm not sure I have the necessary expertise to do this. Thank you.

- Hi, that draft has been deleted (for the 3rd time) as being unambiguously advertising/promotion. Pi (Talk to me!) 16:13, 23 September 2020 (UTC)

Hello, my page of the duo of writers and producers Picard Brothers was declined last month and the comment I has was that the reviewer couldn't see in-depth coverages but I have put many articles especially one that I just added which is a big ITW where they talk about all their achievements. There is another big ITW from very famous magazine Les Inrocks where they also talk with the journalist about all the songs they have written and produced. Because they are writers, most other articles I found talk about the artist and then mention the names of the writers so this is why there aren't that many out there. They have won a Grammy and they have produced the latest Beyoncé single, the last Mark Ronson album, and many songs for Diplo and Major Lazer. There are many websites mentioning their names and I think they deserve to have their own wikipedia page, they participated in many of our recent favorite songs. Please can you help me have their page approve ? Thank you very much

Good afternoon, is the reason for the rejection that it was tagged incorrectly, or simply that a club at step 8 on the national non league setup warrants being on Wikipedia?
Thank you in advance.

- There isn't a firm rule that clubs above/below a certain level are/aren't notable, but as the reviewer on the article said, it's unusual for a club on Level 12 of the football pyramid to be considered notable. In order to establish notability you would need to find significant coverage in independent reliable sources, and at the moment the only sources cited in the article are the club's own website and the club's own twitter, neither of which are independent. - Three reviewers all said the same thing. Your article does not contain any sources. All articles have to have sources to support both the notability of the topic and the facts in the article. Perhaps read over Help:Your first article Pi (Talk to me!) 16:03, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
19:19:52, 23 September 2020 review of draft by Ninjamari2020
[edit]
I submitted--Draft:List_of_Cuban_artists_outside_Cuba. I made some changes to links as requested. However, I have some questions which are: 1- Can I link to the artist's own web page? Some artists have only links to commercial galleries and their own pages. 2- In some cases artists only have links to comercial galleries. We are helping them develop Wikipedia links. As you know that takes a while. I would like their names on the lists. Should I enter the names without any links? 3- Can we enter multiple links per artist listed?
Thank you. Ninjamari2020 (talk) 19:19, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Ninjamari2020: Hi there, Wikipedia is not a directory. It's fine to create a list article, but we want our lists to contain the names of people who are notable. Now while you might personally think the people you've added are notable, Wikipedia has a general notability guideline and the rule of thumb for list articles at Wikipedia is that a person included in a list should already have an article written about them, where notability has been properly established.
- For example, if you look at List of British former child actors virtually everybody listed is blue-linked, meaning that their names point to articles about them. As you can imagine, if we didn't have a quick-and-dirty rule about this, everybody's grandmum would go nuts: "David was sooo adorable in grade school Wizard of Oz!" So, for all intents and purposes, anybody who doesn't have an article that has withstood community scrutiny should not be included in the list.
- No, you should not add links to external sites either, as this could come across as spammy.
- Note that some of the links you've included point to redirect pages. Juan Pablo Ballester Carmenates for example redirects to Juan Ballester Carmenates. So if you think having the four names is important, you should format the link like Juan Pablo Ballester Carmenates. Otherwise, just go with Juan Ballester Carmenates
- Other redirects:
- Iván Abreu
- Maria Brito
- Guillermo Calzadilla
- Waldo Diaz-Balart
- Carlos Estevez
- Jose Parla
- Fidelio Ponce
- Rocio Rodriguez
- Zilia Sanchez
- Antonia Wright
- There are also a number of links that point to disambiguation pages. These should point to the correct target articles.
- Jorge Camacho
- Agustin Fernandez
- Juan Gonzalez
- Andrés González
- Tony Mendoza
- Mario Perez
- Arturo Rodriguez
- Hope that helps. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:43, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
