[edit]02:22:48, 27 October 2020 review of draft by Blackkittycat71
[edit]
I cannot figure out if this article is still under review? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Arthur_Langer?action=edit
Blackkittycat71 (talk) 02:22, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Blackkittycat71 As noted at the top, the draft was declined. Please review the comments left by the reviewer, and you are welcome to address them and resubmit. 331dot (talk) 08:42, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
08:00:29, 27 October 2020 review of submission by Makmurguy
[edit]I am new to be an editor (or creation for submission). But the person that I set up Wikipedia's site for him is one of the important guys in Malaysia who had contributed important achievement in Civil Society's arena in Malaysia. I hope you can really guide me, how to make sure that this site (Mohd Nizam Mahshar) can get approval to be published at Wikipedia.
Thank you. Makmurguy (talk) 08:00, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Makmurguy You are attempting to create a Wikipedia article, not an entire website. You were given some advice by the reviewers at the top of your draft, do you have any questions about that? 331dot (talk) 08:41, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

I have never done this before ever and I just wanted to make sure this new young pop/rock singer has her first Wikipedia page. It was recently rejected and I wanted to get help so that she will have her first page as her career gets going.Penofdestiny (talk) 09:01, 27 October 2020 (UTC) Penofdestiny (talk) 09:01, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Penofdestiny Wikipedia does not have mere "pages", it has articles. Your draft has been rejected, not just declined, meaning that it will not be considered further. It appears that this musician does not meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable musician, as shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources. Please see Your First Article for more information. 331dot (talk) 09:19, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi,
I had created a draft for Farzam Kamalabadi which was rejected giving the reason that it looks like an advertisement. I realised that the wordings used were not in line with Wikipedia policies. I have updated the article, made it neutral but still not sure if this meets wikipedia guidelines. This is my first independent submission. After editing the article, I have not re-submitted for review. Help from experts would be appreciated. Thank you.
Serv181920 (talk) 09:23, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Serv181920, Let's clarify: rejection and declinal are very different here. Your article was declined. If you have updated the wording, great. I will re-submit it on your behalf for another review. Snowycats (talk) 22:58, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Snowycats Hi, Thank you for your help. Please do that. There are a few corrections that I am doing right now.Serv181920 (talk) 08:58, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

This Glyceryl octyl ascorbic acid (GO-VC) column is about 2-glyceryl-3-octyl ascorbic acid. However, the IUPAC Name, Other name, CAS Number, 3D model, PubChem CID are for 2-octyl-3-glyceryl ascorbic acid and should be changed to those for 2-glyceryl-3-octyl ascorbic acid.

- ITO SHINOBU, Do you have a question? Snowycats (talk) 22:57, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]- LeenaEvilin (talk · contribs)
Hello,
I'm a little bit confused about the fact that the article seemed to be not written from a 'neutral point of view'. I did research here on the English wikipedia how other Japanese actors (ex:Hiroki Suzuki (actor, born 1983)) are introduced before creating the article. So it would be really helpful to know what exactly the problem is in order to fix it. And the citations problem is confusing me as well. Does it mean that I need to put a footnote after every bulletpoint ('performance') to get the article approved?
I created this article as a mirror-page to the Japanese article (edited by me as well), but unlike here I never encountered any problems, which really adds to all my confusion.LeenaEvilin (talk) 10:12, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]
I need help with my references and citations.
I have added a lot of references to this article.
I want to know if this is correct and can i submit it for review?
Ervikasbhargava (talk) 12:22, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Ervikasbhargava, You submit it for review to get feedback. Please do so. Snowycats (talk) 22:57, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi,
I submitted an article for the website humanjourney.us and got the reply: Please provide independent reliable sources that discusses the web site
I looked up the backlinks to the website, to see if I could find another website that might review it. I found many mentions, including specialized forums and educational resources, including wikipedia articles, linking to the the humanjourney.us or using it as a reference. But I didn't find a website that did an extensive review of it. I might be mistaken but it seems to me that formal independent reviews of websites of this kind are not the norm.
I'm not sure what to do at this point really. Is there any solution to this? Should I add what I wrote as a subsection of the wikipedia page about the charity that is behind the website? Institute for the Study of Human Knowledge
cheers,
P
PA Packard (talk) 13:49, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- PA Packard To merit an article, this website must receive significant coverage in independent reliable sources that have chosen on their own to write about it, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable website. If this website does not have such coverage, it would not merit an article at this time. You could mention it in the article about the owner, but you would still need some kind of source.
- I've fixed your link to a proper internal link; the whole web address is not necessary. 331dot (talk) 14:50, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing the link. I guess at least the website could be mentioned in the Institute for the Study of Human Knowledge article, but from what you are saying even a neutral summarizing of the content of the humanjourney.us would be too much for wikipedia standards, right? Does anyone know if there is a list of educational websites or open online educational resources where it might be mentioned as well? PA Packard (talk) 16:08, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
14:44:12, 27 October 2020 review of submission by Carthex
[edit]Hello. I urge Wikipedia to kindly please review my page and let me know what else to do for my page to get approved Carthex (talk) 14:44, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Carthex Your draft has been rejected, meaning it will not be considered further. It is almost completely unsourced to independent reliable sources with significant coverage of the subject and does not show how they meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. Please see Your First Article for more information. 331dot (talk) 14:47, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

14:55:23, 27 October 2020 review of submission by Footballfan79
[edit]On interview details were provided of Richard being on the bench for the first team against Liverpool and a team from Lichtenstein in the European cup qualifiers. Richard also played in the league of Ireland which is a fully professional league as well as a notable appearance at Wembley in the FA Vase final in front of 17000 fans which I feel is adequately notable. ? He has also won many honours with notable non league teams including the old professional league team Maidstone United.
Please advise what amendments I need to make to have this submission passed.
Many thanks Footballfan79 (talk) 14:55, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- If he didn't actually play a match (as opposed to being on the subs bench), he does not pass WP:NFOOTBALL. Additionally, the Irish league was not fully professional (see WP:FPL). Number 57 15:32, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]On interview Ross confirmed that he signed professional football forms with Fulham mainly playing in the reserves but had some inclusions in the first team match day squads. He has also played for notable ex football league clubs like Maidstone United who have a large fan base making him notable to many. Please could you advise what amendments I should make to allow this to be published successfully. Many thanks
Footballfan79 (talk) 14:59, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- Footballfan79 Your draft has been rejected, meaning it will not be considered further. Signing with a team is not the same thing as appearing in a game in a fully professional league. 331dot (talk) 15:02, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

- You didn't ask a question, so it's difficult for someone to help you, but I'll just point out that Wikipedia is not a social networking site, so creating a vanity article about yourself is going to be a waste of your time. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:14, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

I have created article named Sukhpal Sukh...as per editors i have changed almost whole article with proper reference and information from indian govt data also. I tried my best but article is still in draft. So im requesting Senior editors to help in this issue to edit this page so that this can be approved and moved to main space. VirdiOnline (talk) 15:57, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
- VirdiOnline, You can not re-submit an article without making substantial changes first. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Snowycats (talk) 22:53, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
