01:04:14, 16 August 2019 review of submission by StezzoVerPunkyBeatnik

[edit]

For "felipe", I meant to type "feline" StezzoVerPunkyBeatnik (talk) 01:04, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@StezzoVerPunkyBeatnik: I'm not able to find the page you're talking about - was "Why doesn't Cookie Puss look felipe?" made as an article or a draft (it would have "Draft:" at the front of the name, if so)? Can you check the name is exactly what you titled it, including capitals? A URL to it would be really helpful.
This is the only edit you've made under this name, did you make the other(s) under an IP (nonregistered/non-logged in) or under a different account name? Nosebagbear (talk) 09:52, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Review of submission by Smitha.piccosoft

[edit]

My page got rejected and the reason being given is it is not 'notable for inclusion'. The page was created for one of the products of my companies. The product is an open source eCommerce solution. I would like to know what steps should I take to publish a page on my Company's products. I shall take the steps towards that. I aspire to have a page for this product on Wikipedia. Kindly help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smitha.piccosoft (talkcontribs) 10:17, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Smitha.piccosoft: You need to add multiple independent reliable in-depth sources to cover the subject per WP:GNG and WP:CORPDEPTH. The only sources in the article are primary by the company and not independent, which are not acceptable at all for sourcing and definitely not for notability. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 11:25, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, thank you for your kind reply. I understand that we need to have independent sources. By independent, does it mean the product's mention should have appeared in a third party (independent) that which is not in anyway related to the owner of the product? Can you kindly give me some examples of such independent sources? Smitha.piccosoft —Preceding undated comment added 11:51, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, not associated with the product/company; see Identifying and using independent sources. Not sure what example I can give you, but you can look through some companies at Category:FA-Class_company_articles / Category:GA-Class_company_articles. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 12:06, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Kingjoseph34 (talk) 11:11, 16 August 2019 (UTC) please what do i need[reply]

@Kingjoseph34: Do you have a specific concern or question about your submission? As the reviewer noted, the article does not appear to satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria, specifically for biographies and musician biographies. In short, you need multiple sources. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 14:36, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

12:23:49, 16 August 2019 review of draft by יואל2007

[edit]

I've just created https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Yochi_Brandes (a translation of the Hebrew https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%99%D7%95%D7%9B%D7%99_%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%A0%D7%93%D7%A1), and I want to add to the English article the image appearing in the Hebrew article.

The image is on https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%A7%D7%95%D7%91%D7%A5:%D7%AA%D7%9E%D7%95%D7%A0%D7%94_2_%D7%90%D7%95%D7%A8.JPG#filelinks, but I don't know how to refer to it from the article.

יואל2007 (talk) 12:23, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@יואל2007: You would have to re-upload it on English Wikipedia locally via Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard (or ask for help at Wikipedia:Files for upload). Although I am not sure what the details of permission are on that file. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 14:26, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

14:11:00, 16 August 2019 review of submission by Oyedepo Joshua

[edit]

Oyedepo Joshua (talk) 14:11, 16 August 2019 (UTC) Why are my articles not published Oyedepo Joshua (talk) 14:11, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Oyedepo Joshua: It appears that you are writing a person's profile rather than an encyclopedic article. Wikipedia is not the appropriate place for this. If you want to write an encyclopedia article, you need to make sure to base all content on multiple reliable independent in-depth sources to satisfy WP:GNG and WP:BIO, and write it in an encyclopedic tone (neutral, unbiased, etc.). —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 14:32, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I believe taskhub is notable enough for Wikipedia. The company is an Australian startup that was founded and built by Keedan and Callum Punch. It has been developed, designed and funded solely by Keedan Punch. They are attempting to take on a multi million dollar company to make the industry fairer. Taskhub is well known by freelancers in Australia. If Airtasker is notable enough for a webpage, then Taskhub is.

49.182.33.227 (talk) 21:20, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Airtasker has 27 independent reliable sources, your draft has none and gives no indication of how it would pass WP:CORP. Theroadislong (talk) 21:28, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Averev (talk) 21:49, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

How to load picture into WIKI for article? Please send me a link. Averev (talk) 21:49, 16 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Averev: - firstly I'd suggest making another 3/4 edits somewhere in wikipedia, so you get autoconfirmed status, which will let you upload your own pictures.
Once you've done that, on the side of your page there is an "upload file" button. Click it, then click on article wizard and go from there. Please make absolutely sure you follow the copyright instructions - as it's a legal matter, Wikipedia is extremely strict and defaults to playing it safe on copyright.
