[edit]13:32:00, 26 January 2016 review of submission by Jameel Akhtar Writer

Jameel Akhtar Writer (talk) 13:32, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Hi,
Good Day,
My article has been rejected third time because of subject notability , This Article is regarding a writer from Pakistan , who used to write in Urdu language so most of his work has been published by National Urdu Newspapers. I have given the link of those independent Newspapers but its rejected.
The page on Cara McCollum (Miss New Jersey 2013) I created has been declined, citing not enough resources to confirm notability. However, the article was properly cited, and every Miss New Jersey since at least 2008 has her own individual Wiki article. My question is: How is Miss New Jersey 2013 not sufficiently notable, if Miss New Jersey 2015, 2014, 2012, 2011, 2010, etc., are?Beshestephens (talk) 17:46, 26 January 2016 (UTC)

Melise de Winter
[edit]Hi, I was making it the articel: Melise de Winter. I add it refrence's and a news paper page about her voice-over job. So my question is: what is not good or notablity? I would also add it her bio. And why the kate bristol's articel good? People also add it bio from kate's site? and that is veriable for good and why not this? Answer pls! Never answer it!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:40, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Maxie1hoi - The reviewer (User:Wiae) posted a review comment on the draft page explaining that there is only one acceptable reference in the draft, the news article. The actor's own website is of no value at all to prove her notability. You need more sources such as news and magazine articles, but not press releases or anything written by de Winter herself or any of her employers, employees, agents or associates. ::Then we also need more source for kate b! Her bio is copy it from her site! and that's not a problem so why this is a problem that I copy it bio from elise's offical site? See her lnikedin account u can also fanmail it her!--Maxie1hoi (talk) 19:42, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
My page on Kerrie Mengersen has been rejected twice. I don't understand the comment by the reviewer that the references are not verifiable. Based on my understanding of the academic "notability" criteria, Kerrie satisfies at least three when only one is required. She has been elected a Fellow by two prominent global organisations. She has received a very prestigious Australian Laureate Fellowship. She has been featured on the Australian Broadcasting Company TV news. She is the most prominent contemporary Australian female statistician. She is extremely prominent internationally. I have included external references and links for each of these achievements. She has a very unorthodox approach to recruiting and advising graduate students that has yielded substantial talent in data analysis to the general community.

- @Visnut: This article should have been accepted; the confirmation on Queensland University of Technology's website of Prof Mengersen's post means she meets the notability guidelines for academics. It is now live at Kerrie Mengersen. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:09, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
