[edit]

I just submitted https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bodysurfinyon/sandbox - I totally rewrote it.

My question is how do I show all of the page that should link to the new article? If you search, there are a handful of places that absolutely should link to it and several other that should, but, maybe figuring out where the link should be might take a little bit of time.

There are many references to Large Scale Brain Networks in Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=large+scale+brain+networks&title=Special%3ASearch&go=Go

Thanks

Hi Bodysurfinyon, I've added a proper references section and took a look at a few of the sources you have cited so far. It looks good to me so I have accepted the article. It is however a brief stub article at present so I posted a note to WikiProject Neuroscience so that other editors interested in the subject can help improve it. Congratulations on your new article. I have been told to update my draft to state if my player meets the cricket guuidelines i am unsure what to do as the cricketer i have chosen has played for the shooting stars which is the name used for the Australian National Team which is the highest cricket team it is possible to go to in Australia and i have stated that she has played for the shooting stars in the draft. Do yous require more citations or do you simply wish for me to change the teams name to australian womens national team instead of shooting stars. She also plays for brisbane heat in the wbbl which is the highest domestic level t20 so i dont know why she isnt eligible, any response would be much appreciated Kage77777 (talk) 04:02, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kage77777, I'm afraid the poor layout and flow of your draft has basically "hidden" the subject's notability. As an international player at the highest level she is clearly notable, but you used an incorrect nickname for the Australia women's national cricket team, the team is called the "Southern Stars", not the "Shooting Stars" - but in any case you should use the formal name. You also forgot to add her international career information to the infobox, which would also have made her notability much clearer to reviewers. You must be far more explicit and specific in the very first sentence - it should say something like: "Jemma Barsby is an Australian international cricketer who made her debut for the Australia women's national cricket team at...". Clearly state the main claim to notability upfront, don't bury it in a huge "wall of text". Create separate sections for personal details such as her family life, education, etc and also sub-sections for different aspects of her career - domestic and international. Keep in mind that most reviewers know nothing at all about cricket. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 16:26, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi everyone ! I don't understand why my article has been declined sevenral times... It's written : "This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability". But I've already posted this article in French, and nobody told me that references were not good. So, can you please explain me what kind of references I have to put, because all my references are from online newspapers or official canadian websites... Thanks for your help ! :) MahevaEtCie (talk) 10:13, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why the notability was rejected. I created the same article on the German Wikipedia and there were no objections based on notability there. The draft makes reference to third-party sources and a search can clearly illustrate obvious notability. Please help and inform me of the viability of my efforts. Thank you.
