[edit]07:03:47, 7 May 2015 review of submission by Antpetsas
[edit]Dear all, after making the proper arrangements in my article according to the valuable tips and info by my reviewer's and some fellow wikipedia reviewers, I would appreciate it if anyone could provide me with any suggestions in order to improve my article even more! Thank you very much for your time! Tony (talk) 07:03, 7 May 2015 (UTC+2)

I reworked my article as suggested by Mr Timtrent. I would appreciate if anyone could have a look at it now for providing me with some feedback! Thanks a lot! Cheers! Tony (talk) 13:44, 7 May 2015 (UTC+2)

[edit]
Sangeeta29Singh (talk) 12:21, 7 May 2015 (UTC) The reason given to reject my paper was that the article already exists in the Wikipedia "Indo-Pak Sign language". First of all, it was the term given by Ulrike Zeshan to the sign language variety used in India and Pakistan. However, the study was limited to two cities i.e. Karachi and New Delhi only. So, it gives the picture of sign language varieties used in both the countries. I want to create a new page "Indian Sign Language" which will discern the history and regional variations of sign language varieties specifically used in India. Please let me know if I can create a new page under the title "Indian Sign Language" I also want to know the areas of modifications in the article and the reasons for the same so that necessary changes could be made as soon as possible. Thanks and Regards, Sangeeta

Can you advise on where to put a COI on the talk page and what the correct wording is? I am unclear on this.

15:59:01, 7 May 2015 review of submission by WinterhalterUK
[edit]We don't understand why our English submission has been declined when the German version was accepted. The English version is a direct translation of the German here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winterhalter_Gastronom
Many thanks
WinterhalterUK (talk) 15:59, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- @WinterhalterUK: The draft doesn't appear to contain references suitable to make out notability of a company. The only references are links to the company's website, which is a primary source that isn't independent of the subject, and Wikipedia links are not considered reliable sources when writing an article. As for the language difference, different language Wikipedias have different standards for article acceptance. An article translated to English must meet the English Wikipedia's general policies and standards. Read WP:CORP to get an idea of the sort of referencing this article will require. [edit]
An article i drafted was declined. I think i made the amendments requested. Before resubmitting, can someone take a look and advise? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Omar_E._Garc%C3%ADa-Bol%C3%ADvar
Thanks,
Juvetorre (talk) 17:22, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Juvetorre: It's much easier if you resubmit it. There is no limit to the iterations the process may have. You may continue to work on it after resubmission. Fiddle Faddle 22:12, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]How do I get the draft submitted? TCVCJ (talk) 18:15, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- @TCVCJ: Done. In the future, if you'd like to submit a draft, you can do so yourself by adding {{subst:submit}} to the page. wia (talk) 19:52, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
19:36:03, 7 May 2015 review of submission by WereDigi
[edit]
I have submitted a sandbox version of a user page. As I read it it says I have submitted its as an actual article. Is this correct or appropriate the instructions on site are extremely confusing and even with mutiple readings of it i do no know if i have done it right.
WereDigi (talk) 19:36, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
- @WereDigi: Hello, if you are trying to make your own personal user page, then you can just put the content at User:WereDigi; there is no need to submit your own user page through this process. Assuming you are indeed making your own user page, you can just remove {{AFC submission|||ts=20150507192946|u=WereDigi|ns=2}} and your article will be "unsubmitted". If, on the other hand, you are trying to make a Wikipedia biographical article about Greg Makuch, then submitting it is the right thing to do.
- Also, I suggest you read WP:CORPNAME, which prohibits usernames that are promotional in nature. If your username unambiguously represents the name of a company, then it is not suitable for Wikipedia. wia (talk) 19:49, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
