[edit]This is my first article, and I don't know how to tell if it has been submitted for review. I see at the bottom of the page "AfC submissions by date/03 February 2014" -- does that mean it was actually submitted? Eveross1 (talk) 00:18, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- No, that page is not currently submitted for review. Articles submitted for review have a large yellow-greenish box on them. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 10:50, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Unfortunately, user Matthew is taking a (deserved) rest till April. He was correcting my article Ignacio Solano Cabello and I had some mistakes with the footnotes that now I've just correct.
Thanks for your time, waiting for more corrections or comments, regards

Hi I am trying to write an article on Tommy Craig who is a renowned former footballer with Dumbarton and East Stirling. I have edited the article on numerous occasions and I keep getting declined. Can you please let me know what I need to do to get this article published Thanks SoccerFactsScotland — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soccerfactsscotland (talk • contribs) 12:13, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Good Afternoon,
I am new to this and keen to learn so as to contribute more productively.
I have responded to the helpful critricism of lack of referencing and relevance. ERC has several extarnl bools and citations ans pecialist press coverage - all of which I have now edited in as advised. I am doing research on bad banking, as it has been and will remain a vital aspects of reforming our banking system. These people at ERC seem to be very infleunetial behind the scenes as advsiors to central banksers across Europe
My have specific questions and request for assisatnce. 1. How do refernce existing Wiki entries (such as Securum) 2. What do I do with all the URLs that I hsave colleected uneder the references. Should they be left as hyerlonks in the body of the text or separately referenced? 3. How do I create a Contents box? 4. How do i get the chapter structure and dividing loines inplace? 5. What external lns are required
Thank you.

- I can only answer some of these!
- You have wikilinked Securum correctly I think.
- Hyperlinks in the body of the text are strongly discouraged.
- The contents box will appear automatically once there are enough sections to need one.
- Section titles look like this: == Early History== - see Wikipedia:CHEATSHEET for more.
- The only external link normally required would be a single link to the organisation's own website.

Help for "Run (2013 drama series)"
[edit]Hello, I created a page for the British mini-series "Run" (2013) here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Run_(2013_drama_series) But I do not know how to make it acceptable for it to be published on Wikipedia. Does someone could edit the page to make it publishable? (Sorry, I'm not Native American so my English is not great) — Preceding unsigned comment added by VM33 (talk • contribs) 16:38, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- Reviews (not press releases or announcements) of the mini-series in newspapers or magazines would probably be the best sources to prove its notability. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 09:17, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
Article Decline
[edit]A few days ago there was a submission of an article, but it was rejected. I would like to get some help on what I had done wrong. - The reason for the decline is given in the pink box - quite simply you have not provided any references. See Referencing for beginners for guidance. BTW I fixed the link to your draft in your post above. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 18:01, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
I think this article should be put up the website

- I have cleared the content on the article because it is an attack page, a page that only serves to attack its subject. It should be deleted soon. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 23:41, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Hi there
my submission [Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sparke Helmore Lawyers]has been rejected a few times.
Can you please provide me with guidance on what I need to do for article to qualify? Information is factual and is supported by references.
Thank you

- Hello. Yes, the information in the article is supported by references. However, as the boxes at the top say, they do not show how the subject is notable, that is, discussed by a significant number of reliable outside sources (news articles, magazines, films, television programs, etc.). Being supported by references is not enough, unfortunately, but you can help show notability by finding more references to outside sources. --Anon126 (talk - contribs) 23:14, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
