[edit]Can an editor take a look at this article and respond with what might be necessary to make this article acceptable to Wikipedia? Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mike.e.swope (talk • contribs) 02:30, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- As the reviewer said, the problem is that some of that draft's sources are not independent. For example, the World Chun Kuhn Do Federation website, for example is copyrighted by "Chun Kuhn Do and Bok Man Kim" - obviously not an independent source on Kim. The USA Book News source is a press release, which isn't considered a reliable source by Wikipedia's standards. We'd need multiple reliable third-party sources such as articles about Kim in newspapers or reputable martial arts magazines. The Totally Tae Kwon Do article is one such source, but on its own it will not suffice to establish Kim's notability. See also WP:BIO for our notability guideline for biographies. How to add company logo in wikipedia article for Plum Amazing that is under review of you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arifhasan23 (talk • contribs) 10:22, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- Short answer: Not yet. The logo is likely to be copyrighted; we can use it under fair use, but Wikipedia's non-free content criteria state that non free content may only be uploaded if it is to be used in an article proper - a draft is not enough. Thus you should wait with uploading the logo until the draft is accepted. Then, you can upload it via Special:Upload; see Template:Infobox company on how to add it to the infobox. Hello: my AfC "The Organization Workshop” was declined today by “User Mutualawe” re: Contact the editor: mail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:EmailUser/Mutualawe wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Mutualawe However, when I click the above link, I am told that ‘User Mutualawe” does not exist. (?) Could someone enlighten me, please? Many thanks (Rafaelcarmen 13:12, 18 May 2013 (UTC))
- That user does not have a userpage, but he clearly exists; you have left a note at the talk page. Huon (talk) 13:53, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

Citation/ Notation for article
[edit]Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Personal Profile of Dr. Shadrach Ofosuware I have written an article and not been successful to have it published mainly because it is not citable and notable. I need some help to make it acceptable. I enjoy writing articles and also want to contribute to wikipedia so this is also a good platform for me. I will be grateful if someone can pinpoint where I am going wrong please. Once I have become an expert how do I suscribe as a volunteer to help others?
(Aliceako (talk) 16:28, 18 May 2013 (UTC))
- Note: Seems to be about Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Shadrach Ofosuware --Demiurge1000 (talk) 18:34, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- As you said, that article needs reliable sources that are independent of the subject such as articles in newspapers or reputable magazines that cover Ofosuware in some detail. The draft's current sources mostly mention him only in passing without providing any details; they cannot serve to verify the draft's content. For example, you cite the Guardian for Ofosuware's theology - but the Guardian article doesn't discuss his theology beyond quoting one specific sermon. The "Ministry" and "TV and media ministry" sections cite no sources whatsoever.
- Helping others does not require a specific subscription, only enough experience to have a firm grasp of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Huon (talk) 20:28, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
The Organization Workshop
[edit]Re: AfC "The Organization Workshop": when accessing my AfC tonightI find that my username rafaelcarmen has been disabled. There is no space provided for r e-submission of the article. As I have not had any explanation for this, can, please, someone explain? thanks (Rafaelcarmen 18:20, 18 May 2013 (UTC))
- I assume this is about Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/The Organization Workshop.
- If you fix the problems described by the reviewers, you can then resubmit the draft article by putting {{subst:submit}} at the top of it. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 18:36, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
- I have replied at your talk page, but I'm not sure what you mean when you say your username has been disabled. You are obviously still able to edit, so you haven't been blocked. You never had a user page to begin with, so nothing has been deleted. Could you please elaborate? What exactly was disabled, how do you experience that? I've answered the "no space provided for re-submission" on User talk:Rafaelcarmen; in short, see the lowest "submission declined" message box. Huon (talk) 18:52, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
