- Articles for the more popular and "star" players of the league need to be expanded, have citations added to them and hopefully we can get some GA's out of them.
- All articles on active players and coaches need to be updated with stats, news, and all things important. (Note: For stats it's best to use ArenaFan.)
- Also, we NEED to get things done so we can take them off of the to do list.
- Please help in re assessing articles, as well as expanding them. We need to get to work on it and get as much done as possible.

- The Florida Firecats of af2 have announced that a group of local investors have purchased a minority share of the franchise. The group includes; Robert Germain Jr., Dr. John and Elizabeth Kagan, Berk Edwards, Richard Castiano, Joseph Viacava Sr., Joseph Viacava Jr. and former Firecats Quarterback Michael McQuagge.
- Arena Football League players made up of some of the 19 players at a Dallas Cowboys workout on January 28. Those 19 were; Eddie Moten, Troy Bergeron, Brian Bonner, Mike Byrne, Mike Castellano, Airese Currie, Gilbert Harris, Jake Helms, Arlan Johnson, Brooks Little, Donovan Morgan, Kelvin Morris, Terry Moss, Van Nelson, Terrence Nunn, Mike Potts, John Syptak, Aaron Williams and Darien Williams.
- It was annoucned on February 17, that the Amarillo Dusters of the af2 and Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League have reached an agreement to remain at the Amarillo Civic Center for the next five years.
- A group of current and former af2 head coaches as well as members of the media and fans throughout the country selected ArenaCup IX as the league's greatest game of all-time.
- The 2000 Quad City Steamwheelers have been named the af2's all-time greatest team, by a group of af2 head coaches past and present, members of the media and fans throughout the country.
- In February, AFL owners met in Chicago, Illionis along with iterm Comminsioner Ed Policy to begin working out details of a new operating model.
- On February 11, it was mentioned by Blogcritics magazine sports blogger Matthew T. Sussman that a relegation system might help, and possibly save, the Arena Football League.
- Rich Ingold has been named the all-time greatest head coach in af2 history, by a group of af2 head coaches past and present, members of the media and fans throughout the country.
- af2 teams opened training camp on February 28 in preperation for the league's 10th anniversary season.

- The af2 placed OL/DL Bobby Jones and QB Damon Dowdell on the League suspension list.
- The Albany Firebirds were assigned OL/DLs Kevin Marchant, Lavon Ward, Aaron Meredith and Peter Martocci, DL Anton Lindsay and OL Brandon Walker. They also placed DS Larry Hutchins and WR/DB Steven King on Re-assignment.

- The Iowa Barnstormers were assigned QB Bryan Lee-Lauduski, WR/DB Jason Simpson and WR/LB Ken Williams. They placed OL/DL David Harley on Re-assignment. OL/DL Charles Edwards has been activated from the League Suspension list.

- The Mahoning Valley Thunder were assigned QB Richard Webster, FB/LBs Michael Alston and Maurice Smith, OL/DLs Frashon McGee and Jason Lewis, K Derek Schorejs, DL Tim Cheatwood and WR/DB Rob Carey. They placed K Ben Scott on Re-assignment. They also added two players from the teams February tryout, those players are: OL/DL Maurice Smith and Frashon McGee.
- The Manchester Wolves were assigned WR/DB Carlton Brown, QBs James Pinkney and Mike Potts and OL/DLs Tyler King and Wesley Jones. They also traded Future Considerations to the Spokane Shock in exchange for DS Brandon Isaac.
- The Milwaukee Iron were assigned OL/DL Chris Acevedo, Jerry Spencer and Brandon Kelly and DS Donnie Amadi. They also placed OL/DL Freddie Weinke on Re-assignment.

- The Tri-Cities Fever were assigned OS Bernie Lewis, OL/DL Cornealius Fuamatu, FB Baron Harrell, QB James Collins and DS's Raymond Little, Condrew Allen and Kwame Agyeman and FB/LB Ben Alexander. They also traded Future Considerations to the South Georgia Wildcats for OS Tremayne Kirkland.
- The Tulsa Talons were assigned WR/DB Carlese Franklin, OL/DLs Terrance Carter, Anthony Bolden and Chris Wade, DSs Ian Pleasant, and Jermaine Hope, WR/DB Dustin Copeland. They also traded FB/LB La'Roi Johnson to the Kentucky Horsemen in exchange for Future considerations. They also placed FB/LB Roderick Johnson on the Other League Exempt list (Winnipeg of the CFL).
Arena Football League Article Stats
- Our goal is to get the number of Stub-Class articles down to 0, in due time. The current article count is listed below, I have placed the forumla that is on the project page that is updated everytime the bot is run and it tallies up our articles and where they are and lists them as seen below, so that no one has to worry about making sure it's updated manually before the newsletter is sent out. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help expand and/or source an article or two. A list is provided in the stub-class category of stub articles that need to be improved, and some should be fairly easy.
