Appearance
The RedWarn team is currently in the process of renaming to Ultraviolet. Some documentation pages are still in the process of being written/transferred. Read the announcement here. |
The toolbar is a set of 7 (or sometimes less) icons at the top right of the page, on the title line, below the search bar. Other than rollback, all other Ultraviolet tools can be accessed from the toolbar.

[edit]Quick Template
[edit]Warn User
[edit]- The Warn User dialog can be opened by pressing the button in the toolbar. This dialog can be used to append warning templates to the talk pages of other users. For more information on the function of this dialog, see Wikipedia:Ultraviolet/Documentation/Warn User
Page Protection
[edit]- The Page Protection dialog allows a user to request varying levels of increased or decreased protection on a page. Other than the requested protection level, the only required input in this dialog is the reason for protection. You can choose from anyone of the grouped preset reasons, or you can enter a custom reason by pressing the “other reason” button and entering a custom reason in the additional reason box (this cannot be implemented in the list box due to technical restrictions). Finally, select how long you want the protection to last, either temporary () or indefinite (), and press the submit button.
Alert on Change
[edit]- The Alert on Change button makes Ultraviolet automatically load any edits made to the page as a diff.
