Veer-Zaara, a 2004 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film, won 34 awards out of 92 nominations; the direction, the performances of the cast, the soundtrack, and the lyrical composition garnered the most attention from various award groups. The film was directed by Yash Chopra (pictured), written by Aditya Chopra, and stars Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji. Veer-Zaara won the award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the 52nd National Film Awards. It was nominated in eleven categories at the 50th Filmfare Awards, including for Best Director (Yash Chopra), Best Actor (Khan), Best Actress (Zinta), Best Supporting Actor (Amitabh Bachchan), and two nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Divya Dutta and Mukerji), and won four including Best Film. An annual opinion poll to determine the most admired man and woman in the United States has been conducted by the American analytics and advisory company Gallup at the end of most years since 1946. The result is published as a top-ten list. In most years, the most admired man has been the incumbent president of the United States, and the most admired woman has been the first lady. The incumbent president has been the most admired man in 58 of the 72 years in which the poll has been conducted. Dwight D. Eisenhower (pictured) and Barack Obama have each been the most admired man 12 times. In his lifetime, the evangelist Billy Graham had 61 appearances in the top-ten list, the most of any individual, and 8 second-place finishes. Two former first ladies have the most appearances as the most admired woman: Eleanor Roosevelt and Hillary Clinton. Clinton topped the list in 22 of the 25 polls conducted during between 1993 and 2017, including 16 times in a row from 2002 to 2017, before Michelle Obama became the most admired woman in 2018. Thirty-five Test centuries and two ODI centuries have been scored at Brabourne Stadium, a cricket ground in Mumbai, India. It is the home of the Cricket Club of India and has played host to Ranji Trophy matches. The first Test century (100 or more runs in a single innings) scored at the ground was in 1948 by the West Indian Allan Rae in the first innings of the first Test match played at Brabourne Stadium. The first Indian to score a century at the Brabourne was Rusi Modi in the third innings of the same match. Virender Sehwag's 293, scored against Sri Lanka in 2009, is the highest Test innings achieved at the ground. The highest Test score by an overseas player is 194 by the West Indian Everton Weekes in 1948. On 29 October 2018, the first century at this ground in the ODIs was scored by Rohit Sharma against West Indies. Sharma also holds the record of highest score at this ground with 162. (Full list...)

The Grammy Award for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance was an award presented at the Grammy Awards to recording artists for works (songs or albums) containing quality vocal performances in the genre of rock music. The honor was first presented to Bruce Springsteen (pictured) at the 30th Annual Grammy Awards (1988) for the album Tunnel of Love. Paul McCartney was the final recipient of the award, for the song "Helter Skelter", before its discontinuation from 2012 in a major overhaul of Grammy categories; all solo or duo/group performances in the rock category are now honored in the category of Best Rock Performance. The Northwest Mexico state of Durango is divided into 39 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican Census, Durango is the 25th most populous state with 1,832,650 inhabitants, but the 4th largest by land area spanning 123,575.36 square kilometres (47,712.71 sq mi). Durango has a population density of 14.8/km2 (38.4/sq mi), making it Mexico's second-least dense state, after Baja California Sur. Municipalities in Durango are administratively autonomous of the state according to the 115th article of the 1917 Constitution of Mexico. Every three years, citizens elect a municipal president (Spanish: presidente municipal) by a plurality voting system who heads a concurrently elected municipal council (ayuntamiento) responsible for providing all the public services for their constituents. The largest municipality by population is the state capital Durango, with 688,697 residents or approximately 35.7% of the state population. The smallest municipality by population is San Pedro del Gallo with 1,633 residents. The largest municipality by land area is also Durango which spans 9,306.43 km2 (3,593.23 sq mi). (Full list...)

The chapters of Yotsuba&!, a manga series written and drawn by Kiyohiko Azuma and published in Japan by ASCII Media Works, have been collected in fifteen tankōbon volumes, with further chapters appearing in the monthly magazine Dengeki Daioh to be collected in tankōbon format over time. Yotsuba&! follows the daily life of a young girl named Yotsuba Koiwai and her adoptive father, with each chapter taking place on a specific, nearly sequential day of a common year starting on Wednesday. The series was licensed in English by ADV Manga, with five volumes published. Yen Press announced at the 2009 New York Comic Con that they had acquired the North American license for the English release of the manga; volume six was released in September 2009 with new translations of the first five volumes, and later volumes to follow. The series has been licensed in France by Kurokawa, in Spain by Norma Editorial, and in Germany by Tokyopop Germany. (Full list...)

The filmography of Indian actress Karisma Kapoor began with her acting debut at the age of seventeen in the romance Prem Qaidi in 1991, which was a box-office hit. She then appeared in successful ventures, the drama Sapne Sajan Ke (1992), and the action drama Jigar (1992). Kapoor had her first commercial success in a leading role in the romantic action drama Anari (1993), which was a moderate success and was one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 1993. Between 1993 and 1996, Kapoor featured in several highly successful films, including the comedy drama Raja Babu (1994), the action drama Suhaag (1994), the action comedy Andaz (1994), the comedies Coolie No. 1 (1995), Saajan Chale Sasural (1996) and Hero No. 1 (1997), and the action thriller Jeet (1996). Michael Schumacher, a German racing driver, has won 91 Grand Prix races in his career. Schumacher entered Formula One with the Jordan racing team in 1991, qualifying seventh in his debut race at the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix. His first Grand Prix win came the following year at the same venue. At the 2001 Belgian Grand Prix, Schumacher won his 52nd Grand Prix, breaking Alain Prost's record for the most career Grand Prix wins. His 2002 season, in which he was on the podium in every race, included eleven race victories. The latter broke the record for the most wins in a single season. Schumacher surpassed this with thirteen race victories in 2004. The majority of his race victories were for the Ferrari team, with 72. His most successful circuit was Magny-Cours, where he won eight times in his career. Schumacher's largest margin of victory was at the 1994 Brazilian Grand Prix, a race in which he lapped the field, and his smallest margin of victory was at the 2000 Canadian Grand Prix, when he beat his teammate Rubens Barrichello by 0.174 seconds.
