Not everything needs a navbox and avoid template creep. There is nothing inherently notable for an indivdual who just happened to be on a franchise's initial roster. There is no precedent for NBA roster navboxes for a specific season, except for those of championship teams. All of these nominated are recently created. On a related note, WikiProject Baseball had a 2013 TfD that deleted their project's inaugural season navs.—Bagumba (talk) 14:30, 22 July 2019 (UTC)

Used on one article only, while {{Animal rights}} which has the same scope is on 385 pages. Replace the single use with the other template.
