No use for this template as you have already templates about England, Wales, Scotland and Northern-Ireland. Beside that, it is linking to a disambiguation pages without a reasonable target. The Banner talk 15:14, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
I believe it serves a valid role in aiding movement through Wikipedia and providing easy access to related topics, as well as in standardizing the 'Culture of Country' pages and the related sidebars. The target could be any one of the listed pages, or all, for the disambiguation pages, which could be themselves removed from the template without entire destruction. The templates regarding the countries of the UK are relevant on their respective pages, and the template in question is relevant on its page.--Kilometers to Verona (talk) 02:47, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- Comment the articles it links to are "British" or "United Kingdom", so I don't see why templates from E/W/S/NI would link to those. Instead a UK template should link to those. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 05:11, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Oops, I was totally wrong. The point of contention was the link to British folklore what has no valid target in the case of this template. Solved the case by removing the link. But due to this mistake, there is no ground for removal. So I withdraw the nomination as nominator and request closure of this erroneous TfD. The Banner talk 11:51, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
