- Template:Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
It has previously been determined that the Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup are entirely separate competitions, whose statistics should not be presented as congruous. Each competition already has its own navbox (see Template:Intercontinental Cup (football) and Template:FIFA Club World Cup), and the articles recently created that imply a link between the two competitions are in the process of being deleted. – PeeJay 13:04, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was Delete. History merge is unnecessary because the same editor also created the other page, so all contributions are already properly attributed. RL0919 (talk) 14:11, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
- Template:Wikipedia:Wikiportal/Writing/Introduction (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

- Note This was probably supposed to be moved to Portal:Writing/Introduction, but was left behind for some reason. One possible option is to perform a history merge, but I don't think that's critical here. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 16:19, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was Delete the "Where to start" page; history merge the "Categories" page. Unfortunately, the Categories page appears to have been subject to a cut-and-paste move by a different editor than the ones who contributed the material initially, so history merging is the appropriate way to preserve the contributions. - Template:Nsfw (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Violates WP:NODISCLAIMERS. This template is only used on a few pages anyway - most of them talk pages, and one article, Brent Corrigan. As the article makes clear, he's a gay porn actor, so I really don't think we need to warn people that his website may be 'not safe for work'. Robofish (talk) 12:22, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Speedy delete Under criterion T2, templates that are "unambiguous misrepresentations of established policy" can be speedily deleted. This explicitly includes "disclaimer templates intended to be used in articles." Intelligentsium 18:37, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedydelete per Intelligensium. I think WP:NODISCLAIMERS is a greatly flawed guideline, but so long as it is one this is in clear violation of it. —what a crazy random happenstance 12:37, 11 April 2010 (UTC)- Speedy delete per above (citing WP:NODISCLAIMERS and WP:CSD#T2). Airplaneman ✈ 19:03, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
SpeedyDelete per above. I went ahead and tagged it for T2. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs/Vote! 00:02, 13 April 2010 (UTC)- Most cases on non article pages it's still painfully clear, and a disclaimer is redundant. NativeForeigner Talk/Contribs/Vote! 03:47, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- Weak keep: I removed the speedy tag. While I agree that the template should definitely not be used in articles, I see potential for legitimate use in non-article space, as a notice for editors during discussions (for example, I arrived at this page after this template was used in an ANI discussion). Something to consider. Nikkimaria (talk) 03:16, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
