Event information
[edit]- Date: Tuesday, April 16, 2024
- Time: 4:00 pm – 5:20 pm

Citation Hunt
[edit]Citation Hunt is a tool that selects a random Wikipedia article with an unsourced statement, flagged with {{citation needed}}. Once you find an article that interests you, please find a reliable source that verifies the statement in question and add it to the article.
Earthstock-related topics
[edit]This event is being held during Earthstock week, in celebration of Earth Day. Several queries have been run ahead of time using PetScan to find relevant articles in need of improvement, though you are encouraged to click down the Wikipedia rabbit hole on your own! Once you find an article that interests you, feel free to expand it and add citations to reliable sources.
- Articles related to recycling
- Articles related to pollution
- Articles related to the environment of New York
Conflict of interest statement
[edit]In accordance with Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, Stony Brook University students and staff are discouraged from editing about any topics related to the university or for which they may otherwise have a conflict of interest. Those wishing to do so anyway should read the relevant guidelines and make an edit request at the affected article's talk page, in addition to publicly disclosing their conflict of interest on the talk page or their user page.
