How I can create a wikipedia page for RMOS Consultancy ?

[edit]

Hi i want to create a wikipedia page for RMOS Consultancy, but every time i try to do so my account get blocked. plz help why i am unable to make a page for RMOS Consultancy ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmos-consultancy (talkcontribs) 05:38, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Probably because you're trying to abuse Wikipedia to create artificial notability for your organization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baseball Bugs (talkcontribs) 11:00, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You may wish to read WP:NOTADVERTISING, WP:COMPANY, and WP:Conflict of interest to better understand Wikipedia's policies. -- ToE 13:06, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It's not impossible to do this, but if you can't find a few WP:RS that talk about the company, then it's unlikely that it is notable enough for WP coverage, even without the conflict of interest. SemanticMantis (talk) 14:16, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
IF your company:
  1. ...passes the requirements of Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)...AND...
  2. ...can find references for all of the facts in the intended article...AND...
  3. ...meticulously obeys all of the rules in Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure...AND...
  4. ...can scrupulously obey WP:NOTADVERTISING...AND...
  5. ...somehow avoid tripping over Wikipedia:Neutral point of view (which might require you to write critically about your own company)...AND...
  6. ...avoid Wikipedia:No original research, WP:SYNTH, WP:BLP...and a whole bunch of other rules...
...THEN you can write an article about your company without anyone deleting it.
However, if things got to the point where you got blocked for trying to do this - then clearly you broke one or more of these rules - and continued to break rules after you were warned, temporarily blocked and then permanently blocked. So I guess you didn't learn or you didn't listen when people tried to warn you.
My guess is that RMOS simply isn't "notable". You may have to accept that there is nothing sufficiently important about your company to warrant a place in an encyclopedia - you simply aren't notable. That's OK - there are many tens of thousands of smaller businesses that don't meet that criteria.
You're probably hoping that an article about RMOS here would help to promote your business give you a step up in public visibility. But remember, if you create an acceptable article, it's free for ANYONE to edit. That'll include your competitors, your ex-employees, any people who are unhappy with whatever service or product you provide. You won't "own the message" here. So if anything bad happens and gets into the news - it'll be splashed over your article in perpetuity - if you try to remove it, other editors will jump in and put it back - you'll have absolutely ZERO special rights as regards what's in the article...(probably less than zero, actually because people here get very nervous about company shills editing here). You'll try to put the "company message" into the article, and we'll say "Sorry - per WP:REF, we can't accept that. It's very hard to expunge information that you don't like once it's "out there". Would you like to push out an advert that your worst competitor, disaffected ex-employees and least happy customers can edit?
I'm an expert editor here - I have close to 30,000 edits and 10 years of work here on Wikipedia. I would dearly love to have an article about my family business - or to be personally notable enough to have an article written about me. But I'm realistic. Neither of those things is ever likely to happen because they don't come close to meeting WP:NOTE...and I'm certainly not going to try to do create those things without that.

V-2 production

[edit]

During the war, did the Nazis have any other V-2 production facilities besides Nordhausen-Mittelwerk? If so, where were they located? 2601:646:8E01:9089:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 11:33, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has an article V-2 rocket facilities of World War II.--Aspro (talk) 11:57, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! 2601:646:8E01:9089:F88D:DE34:7772:8E5B (talk) 05:12, 24 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I see conflicting numbers regarding the Gross Rent Multiplier. The Benchmarking indicator overview provides for an acceptable criteria of Less than 9 but I can not determine nine what ??. Years, months, days or other.

In another section of the article, it does note the benchmark indicator in months for comparative purposes of 80 to 120 months as acceptable and less acceptable.

Could you please adjust one of the numerical units to match the other numerical units so I know which number(s) are more valid.

Thank you for your consideration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.209.142.53 (talk) 14:38, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Most people reading this page, like me, will never have heard of Real Estate Benchmarking. The talk page for the article (Talk:Real estate benchmarking is a much better place for questions like this, as the people watching that page are likely to have some knowledge and interest in it. --ColinFine (talk) 16:14, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
