[edit]Ring theory
[edit]Given a commutative ring R, when is it true that the tensor product of any two nonzero R-modules is nonzero? Fields have this property, but rings with this property need not be fields. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 00:13, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
- I believe it's also true for local rings, by Nakayama's lemma. I don't know what other rings might have this property. Sławomir
