Hauntings & Mental Health (homework question)

[edit]

Firstly, consider a situation in which a client insists that their home is haunted. You have been hired by the clinical team to conduct research that might demonstrate if this was a reasonable possibility before they make a judgement about their client's mental health.

Secondly, describe how you might conduct such an investigation. What are the variables? Which is the dependent and which is the independent variable? How would you measure these variables? How would you describe the experimental and control groups? After you take test I this week end, turn in your extra credit answer with your exam.

can you please anwer this question ,thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.54.215.76 (talk) 23:09, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

(e/c) At the top of this page it says, and I quote:
If your question is homework, show that you have attempted an answer first, and we will try to help you past the stuck point. If you don't show an effort, you probably won't get help. The reference desk will not do your homework for you.
I suggest you make an effort to think about the question and use the knowledge you've already gained in class to come up with some targeted questions about mental health. When you do that, you may find that the Science desk will give you better answers than the Mathematics desk. Good luck. - Cucumber Mike (talk) 23:28, 1 March 2012 (UTC) (p.s. I added a heading to your question to help you find it later.)[reply]
