[edit]Israeli food testing laboratory
[edit]An American newspaper article described Yeshajahu Pomeranz as head of the Central Food Testing laboratory of the Government of Israel from 1946 to 1959. What was the Hebrew name for that laboratory? Did the name change during his tenure (given that the Israeli Declaration of Independence was in 1948)? gnu57 14:12, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
- It seems that currently, food testing by the Israeli government is done under the aegis of the Ministry of Health - Department of Laboratories, for which there is contact information here. I note that there is a laboratory called "Central Laboratory" in Jerusalem. Perhaps someone there can put you in contact with someone that may know more about the history of food testing in Israel. --Jayron32 17:04, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
