Was The Baby of Mâcon filmed before or after Schindler's List?

[edit]

I know the actual release dates of the films, but I want to know which scenes Fiennes did first: Those in The Baby of Mâcon or those in Schindler's List. 69.196.169.236 (talk) 04:16, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This interview suggests that the Greenaway film was first: "There followed Peter Greenaway's The Baby of Macon and then the swift ascent to stardom and Oscar nominee-ville - Schindler's List". It makes sense because independent art-house films often struggle to find a distributor and can sit around on the shelf for some time. The Baby of Mâcon, like much of Greenaway's output, was pretty bizarre and never going to find a mass market (but don't let me put you off, it's worth a watch but not his best in my opinion). Thank you for this information. It's actually only the Greenaway film of these two that I have seen! 69.196.169.236 (talk) 04:03, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Schindler's List is actually a classy film and well worth looking at. I went to see it in a small cinema in Hampstead and every single person in the audience sat through all of the credits in total silence, something I've never experienced before or since. The music score alone is worth it. But that's far from all it has to offer. A magnificent film. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 19:24, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

acrobatic starlets

[edit]

I read on the Internet aerial yoga is the fitness craze in Hollywood. Starlets like Troian Bellisario, Vanessa Hudgens, Sarah Hyland, Janel Parrish, and Rumer Willis have got in on the act. Are any other starlets around their age range in on the act, as well?2604:2000:7113:9D00:B81E:C008:E611:FADF (talk) 11:49, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Without commenting on whether aerial yoga is a fitness craze, if your list of people who are in to aerial yoga is accurate, and your definition of "starlet" is wide enough and your age range is wide enough (both of which seems to be the case), it's difficult to imagine the answer is anything but yes. Even if you'd don'tdone an exhaustive search for info on "starlets" who are in to aerial yoga which I doubt, it would seem almost definite that you simply couldn't find one because there is no info. While interviews with "starlets" may often involved a lot of fluff, ultimately it's likely there's just going to be one case where it never came up. Indeed... Actors in their late 20's-early3 30's aren't usually considered "starlets"... --Jayron32 14:19, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

which episode/series / victim produces slideshow with accusations

[edit]

Hi! Can somebody here remember this scene? A victim produced a video and gave it somehow to the police. That video showed him with a bunch of sheets of paper in front of his chest and he dropped one after the other on the floor. The sheets showed his accusations against his former coach. That coach told his parents that this victim is insufficiently talented. I think it was “The Closer”, or “Major Crimes”, or “Law & Order: SVU”. And I saw it in german TV about 5yrs ago (that means it is about 7yrs old). Thx. Bye. --Homer Landskirty (talk) 14:43, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

i just found it myself by systematically ready the episode synopses: it is “Major Crimes” Season 2 Episode 18/8 "The Deep End" July 29, 2013... --Homer Landskirty (talk) 20:19, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
