[edit]Songs from commercials growing up
[edit]What's the song from the car commercial from 2000? (Pontiac?) When I whistle the piano part at the end into this app I get "C# g# E g# C# g# E g# C g Eb g C g Eb g C# end". Where lowercase is the octave below uppercase.
What's the song on the TV commercial for All the Pretty Horses (film)? B A# B g# A# B A# g# A# g A A# B A# B A# etc. I think. Sagittarian Milky Way (talk) 00:31, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- When I search YouTube for "All the Pretty Horses commercial", it comes up with a commercial backed with the theme from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. 209.149.113.4 (talk) 16:09, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Recent music that sounds like kitchen utensils
[edit]I heard some music on the radio in a Dunkin Donuts shop. I have no idea what channel it was set to. This music had no lyrics, was very catchy, and sounded like either popping noises or pieces of kitchen metal being struck. I ham reminded of some Muppets skit, but that may be wrong. What could this be? — Melab±1 ☎ 02:14, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- How much did you hear? There's an extended "spoon" solo in the Soundgarden song named "Spoonman" featuring street performer Artis the Spoonman; if you only heard this part of the song you may have not known it was part of a larger work. --Jayron32 02:20, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- "Popping noises" suggests possibly this. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.211.130.104 (talk) 02:44, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- I always enjoy that song "formerly know as" :-) The description also matches Belleville Rendez-vous from the film Les Triplettes de Belleville. MarnetteD|Talk 02:51, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

- Jayron "This music had no lyrics, ..." MarnetteD Good guess! Maineartists (talk) 18:05, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- To be fair Maineartists I've heard my guess performed with and without lyrics. This performance at the Oscars is fun. MarnetteD|Talk 18:14, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- MarnetteD I was being sincere - my comment was toward Cups not yours. Best, Maineartists (talk) 18:19, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification Maineartists. I was pretty sure what your post was saying but as I read it my dusty old memory banks reminded me that the song is performed with and without at various points in the film. Cheers. MarnetteD|Talk 18:59, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

- It says in the article you linked: "Note: Estonia fielded an ineligible player in 2 of their matches. Matches were awarded as 5-0 wins to their opponents, and Estonia were disqualified from the competition". Rojomoke (talk) 13:40, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
