[edit]Stephen Tenenbaum's nationality (film producer)
[edit]Hello,
I would be grateful if someone could help with finding out what the nationality of Stephen Tenenbaum (a film producer who frequently works with Woody Allen)is?
I have noticed that although he is listed as one of the producers for some of Woody Allen's films, there is no entry on him in particular. It would be helpful if one were to be created. Thank you.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,

- There is the stub Stephen Tenenbaum. If you find more information about him, be bold and add it in. RudolfRed (talk) 04:08, 30 January 2013 (UTC)

Alternative Cartoon Ghostbusters intro
[edit]Okay so I remember a different version of the cartoon ghostbusters intro and it was not fan made. The car featured wasn't the cadillac station but mas more like a Cartoon-car. with a face and not like a real car.... I SWEAR it was a ghosbusters intro, so i went on youtube and watched both the "Real ghostbusters" intro and the "Extreme ghostbusters" intro and both of them have the cadillac while I remember the cartoon-car... :S
I remember they slided down a rail in the intro and it started with the phone ringing, and like they were similar to both crews in both series. But i can't remember which. :( — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.30.207.217 (talk) 16:06, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds like the Filmation Series 'The Ghost Busters' which is uncconected with the Real Ghostbusters. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 16:07, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Not sure if it applies here, but sometimes they will start with a cheap opening sequence, then, later in the series, improve it. The annoying thing is, they may then go back and change the opening sequence in the early episodes, to match, so they aren't as you remember, in reruns. StuRat (talk) 21:26, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- The series Sfan00 IMG is referring to is Ghostbusters (1986 TV series), which was unrelated to the Film series. There were cartoon series based on the Films, they were called The Real Ghostbusters, and the two series aired at the same time, leading to much confusion and consternation. --Jayron32 21:29, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
Phil Hartman and the Canada's Walk of Fame
[edit]What other deceased person has been inducted? Thank. Kotjap (talk) 22:19, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Right off the bat, I see Raymond Burr, John Candy, Glenn Gould. You can search and research at List_of_inductees_of_Canada's_Walk_of_Fame. RNealK (talk) 22:47, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Probably some of the people inducted when they were living are now dead. Did you mean people inducted posthumously, or people who are now dead regardless of when they were inducted? -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 23:20, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
tom clancy
[edit]Does any one know why tom clancy search and destroy book has been cancelled no shops know why ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.19.177.127 (talk) 22:46, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
- Probably, the publisher has no particular interest in releasing such information, in which case no definitive answer can be provided. At a guess, the primary possibilities are that the authors couldn't finish the book to their satisfaction on time, or that the publisher felt releasing the book to market would be a bad move (overly controversial subject matter, or maybe just not expecting it to turn a profit). I note that the online reviews for the preceding book are generally bad, which lends some credence to the "won't turn a profit" idea. — Lomn 15:30, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
- It was also asked at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Archives/Entertainment/2012 July 21#Fom Clancy's latest book where I couldn't find an answer. Somebody offered the joke answer "It was found and destroyed?" PrimeHunter (talk) 16:25, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
- Perhaps some of the military details were too sensitive to release, or plotline conjectures too close to reality. I heard a previous book had to be re-edited because of the former, but that could be PR hype. /shrug El duderino (abides) 10:21, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
