[edit]EA's football World Cup video game.
[edit]Yes, I know that the servers are closed and any way of officially acquiring the squad updates is impossible, BUT, Im wondering if there is any source that has the squad updates available for download? Why do they even close the servers for games like this? Makes me mad... Nicholasprado (talk) 05:12, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
Are non-famous people allowed to attend the Oscars?
[edit]Thank. Kotjap (talk) 13:52, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- If you don't get invited you can apply to be a seat filler. [1] says "Qualification and selection is a lengthy and highly-competitive process requiring an applications, resume, cover letter and glamor-shot photo." PrimeHunter (talk) 15:40, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Also, most of the people in attendance may be famous among their peers who do the same type of work in the industry (set design, say, or whatever), but I assume they would not be famous throughout the entire movie industry, and certainly the average television viewer would have never heard of most of them. Duoduoduo (talk) 20:38, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- At least two actors tonight have brought their non-famous mothers as their dates. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:16, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Cee Lo Green's Bodies
[edit]Has anyone heard Cee Lo Green's song, Bodies? I just watched the music video for it. In various newspaper articles in the video, the name Samuele Bacchiocchi can be seen if you look hard enough (example: Under the "Media mogul found dead" heading), as well as Samuele's birthdate and birthplace. Which I find weird, considering Samuele Bacchicchi has no relevance to the song. He's not even black, is he? Is there anything cryptic behind this? Thanks. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 10:32, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
Richard Briers and Felicity Kendal
[edit]Among the many tributes recently paid to the deceased actor Richard Briers, one notable absentee was his former Good Life co-star Felicity Kendal. This article [2] says that the two of them were not friends off-set, and that attempts to reach Kendal via her agent for a tribute quote were unsuccessful. So what was the nature of their off-screen relationship in recent years, and why has Kendal made no public comment on the death of Briers? --Viennese Waltz 22:34, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Let's be more precise about what that source actually says, which is "Felicity Kendal's agent Dallas Smith was unable to reach his client, who was on holiday." It may be a very remote holiday. I was out of news reach for the past five days. I didn't know Richard Briers had died. Maybe Kendal is in the same situation. (She wasn't where I was.) HiLo48 (talk) 06:51, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
- Briers said before his death "that she had “disappeared” from his life...... He disclosed the pair had never been close in real life and have since lost contact with each other." She's been in Barbados, apparently - not that remote. Ghmyrtle (talk) 13:41, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- It's sort of sad that they weren't friends and had no time for each other; but given that that was the case, and all their friends and various others would have known it was the case, she was probably right not to make a complete hypocritical ass of herself by saying how terribly sad it is he's died. Best to make no statement at all, and cause a few questions to get asked, than wreck her integrity by saying something she didn't feel was true. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 11:18, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, but expressing regret at his death and sympathy for his relatives would not have been hypocritical, even if the two of them didn't get on. It seems a mite mean-spirited of her. I'm surprised no-one in the tabloid media has noticed this. --Viennese Waltz 14:45, 3 March 2013 (UTC)

- We shouldn't judge, and we shouldn't make our expectations become their responsibilities. Who knows, maybe she has privately contacted his family to convey her condolences. That would be far more fitting than any public announcement. -- Jack of Oz [Talk] 20:37, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
Old 90's show question: What was episode where the dad got mad at Moshea for dressing like a tramp? this show starred Brandy Norwood.

- Which show has a character named Moshea? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 01:14, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
- He means Moesha. We have a List of Moesha episodes, if that helps. At a quick glance, there is one where her father is mad when she gets a tattoo, but otherwise I have no idea. Adam Bishop (talk) 02:16, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Thank you Adam but I'm not a he. I'm a she. I'm a young woman!Venustar84 (talk) 20:42, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
