[edit]Name of this Musician
[edit]Alright, I distinctly remember this one musician, sort of an IDM sort of guy, did all sorts of really crazy aggro stuff, and all of his album covers had pictures of weird dolls dressed up as nurses or with injuries or stuff like that. Sorry for the vagueness, Anybody able to point me in the right direction?

- Intelligent Dance Music. The man who does these album covers is almost certainly Trevor Brown but none of the artists he has worked with could be described as IDM exactly. You may be thinking of William Bennett aka Whitehouse, whose music is power electronics and could well be described as "crazy aggro stuff". Brown has done several album covers for Whitehouse, an example can be seen here (link NSFW). Or the artist may be Romain Slocombe (on whom we don't have an article, it seems). He did a cover illustration for a compilation curated by Bennett, which can be seen here (link NSFW). Brown does the weird dolls but they don't tend to be dressed up as nurses, nor do they tend to have injuries. Slocombe's work does show injuries (faked), but they're normally of people not dolls. --Richardrj talk email 08:31, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help, folks! I found the group, Venetian Snares. God I can't get enough of "Songs about my Cats".
Internet meme

Ignore the right of the screen, it's the left. What the hell is the two-headed duck thing about? Can someone give me a reasonable explanation? --Editor510 drop us a line, mate 12:18, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- What makes you think it's a meme? It looks to me as though someone has though someone has just made a silly picture and put it next to the King Crimson album cover in a misguided attempt at "humour". This sort of thing gets posted on b3ta all the time. --Richardrj talk email 12:22, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's everywhere...EVERYWHERE I TELL YOU! But seriously now it is in a lot of places. An in joke maybe?--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 12:23, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I know it's commonly known as THE FEAR, and I think it came from B3ta. Let me Google a moment... Oh look, our lovely article has it. B3ta#The_Fear :D 79.66.109.89 (talk) 22:46, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- The two-headed eagle is a fairly common heraldic device/national symbol, so perhaps it's a parody of that: [1]. StuRat (talk) 08:11, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Siddharta
[edit]Hi! When I was in Slovenia (Europe) I heard their rock band Siddharta. Do you know this band? Where can I buy their CD? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Atacamadesert12 (talk • contribs) 13:12, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- WP has an article: Siddharta (band). Have you asked about the CD at your local music store? I can't seem to find it on ebay. Best, Zain Ebrahim (talk) 13:21, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- Okay you can get the CDs from their official online store. Good luck! Zain Ebrahim (talk) 13:32, 10 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit]OMG Nobody tried to answer this yet!
SCTV TV program - funny punk song "they wouldn't touch the socks" may have had Wendy O'Williams ==
where can I find the lyrics, or an audio clip or a video clip of this song.
Might have been an episode with Wendy O'Williams as the Musical guest I think the lyrics went like this: too violent for detox
they had to put me in a padded box
they took my clothes
but they wouldn't touch the socks

- Just because there are no replies posted does not necessarily mean that "nobody has tried to answer this yet". It is quite possible that many attempts have been made to locate the information that you have requested with no success. 10draftsdeep (talk) 16:13, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
