[edit]Esper
[edit]What could be the equivalent of the espers [or esper mansion] from the Phantasy Star series in real life?
- Copied from Miscellaneous V-Man737 05:59, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think game characters exist in real life.... Espers, in general, are people with ESP, thus, Esper. --Wirbelwindヴィルヴェルヴィント (talk) 09:01, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Simpsons quote
[edit]When Homer Simpson once told Marge "Oh, honey, you're not the world's worst mother. What about that freezer lady in Georgia?", to whom was he referring? --AdamSommerton 21:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
- You don't happen to remember the episode do you? --The Dark Side 00:05, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- According to SNPP, it was Homer vs. The Eighteenth Amendment, AKA "The Beer Baron" episode. SNPP doesn't offer any further background on the reference, and Google doesn't have anything to offer either. Since it's Homer, it's possible he's combining references, which would obscure it a bit. fethers 03:29, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- A woman in the Republic of Georgia stashed her newborn triplets in a freezer, found only when her 18 and 24 year old children went looking for a snack. thank you and goodnight Aussz 04:58, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

um, no, the woman was German, and it happened in 2008, not 1997 which is when Homer vs the eighteenth amendment aired. [1]
I know this was written quite sometime ago..but I googled too, and I agree with Fethers in that Homer might have been combining references, 1996 was Jon Benet (who lived in Atlanta, Georgia) and a woman and her children were killed by their preacher father in 1996 as well..so, perhaps it was these two? P.S. Googling those types of things sometimes sends you into the underbelly of the internet. Ugh. --Derevolutionary 16:32, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
