[edit]Travel Expenses
[edit]UK’s travel expenses list please. All zones… Also which website provides accurate traveling times... 43.245.123.23 (talk) 17:51, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- A very valuable resource for reasonable per diem rates for much of the world, including a lot of places in the UK, is the US Department of Defense's system here (put in UK, and uncheck the military bases part). Looking, for example, at hotels, their rates will generally get you a decent business-type hotel. I've worked with several businesses that simply give you the US-DoD per diem rate rather than deal with individual expense claims. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 21:28, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- As to travel times, Google Maps' estimates (which now do driving, public transport, and walking) are fairly reliable. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 21:30, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Convert black image into another color
[edit]I'm using Windows 7. What's the easiest way to convert a completely black and white image into a different color? I'd like to print the image and I don't have black ink right now. Daniel Carrero (talk) 19:42, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- IrfanView is a generally useful little bitmap editor and it has an easy tool for this. Andy Dingley (talk) 20:55, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- MS Paint has an eraser that can be set to only erase the selected foreground color, changing it to the background color. You can make the eraser huge so you can alter the entire image quickly. 209.149.113.5 (talk) 19:55, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
