- Derek, thanks for the high-quality pics!! I'm adding a link to my photos, which are probably not worth much :) I release them under the CC-BY 3.0 license. (Yes, in spite of that not being reflected on the linked photo pages.) -Pete (talk) 04:44, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Pete! Glad to contribute, thanks for uploading the group pic, and for releasing yours - can never have enough free pics. :-) Dcoetzee 11:41, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

- Steven (talk)
Dolores Park preferredOptigan has a good point about Pink Saturday... - Binksternet sends regrets. :(
Optigan13 (talk)The 25 is Pink Saturday so Dolores Park will get crowded in the evening as Dykes on Bikes park along the 18th side of the park. Not sure what time this was in mind, but I would assume the afternoon so it shouldn't affect it.- --ShakataGaNai ^_^ 06:11, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
- Rosiestep (talk) Golden Gate Park..
Sue Gardner (talk) Either GG or Dolores would work fine for me. Dolores is near the Tartine Bakery :-)Bah, I cannot go; I'll be out of town. Hope it's fun!- Oayfer: GGP

(arbitrary break for decision!) Looks like Golden Gate Park is the clear favorite, and it seems picnic sites are limited. So I reserved George Washington Grove for us. So we'll have a permit, a grill, and a table. Yay! -Pete (talk), May 27

A Wikipedian in NYC made an ID badge for anyone who wants it
[edit]Some Wikipedian in New York City mentioned self-made ID badges for their 2007 MeetUp, and since Nightscream 16:28, 12 August 2007 (UTC) made the ones that his company's employees used, he decided to make one for himself, and then decided that others might want to use it, so if anyone else wants to, you can download it at: http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/1904/wikibadgeas8.jpg. I plan on using it myself and encourage others to do so, too. You can put your username, your real name, or both. It's a double-image so that if you want, you can fold it in half and laminate it or put it in a badge holder. Or, you could just cut it in half and print it onto an adhesive label and stick it on yourself. Whatever. Go crazy.
SFFrog (talk) 09:50, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- The ID badges were a big hit. Almost everyone wore one. --Uncle Ed 21:15, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Note: get off at 25th AVENUE--not *Street*
- Can those badges be uploaded to Commons? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 22:17, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Aftermath
[edit]While buzzing about strafing everyone with my talk about World War I Aviation, I somehow missed getting contact info from two folks to whom I made commitments.
Susan, the rookie writer: I haven't forgotten my promise to be your writing coach.
Steven, the wikieditor: I am still interested in collaborating on Featured Articles.
