Not sure how to add a link to a page. Specifically, adding a link to Chuck Berry to the page on Music of St. Louis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Music_of_St._Louis,_Missouri under the heading - Pages in category "Music of St. Louis, Missouri" Or can someone do that? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.145.224.34 (talk) 00:15, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just add Category:Music of St. Louis, Missouri to the bottom of Chuck Berry CTJF83 00:17, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
He already has Category:Musicians from St. Louis, Missouri though...CTJF83 00:18, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing untrue critique

[edit]

The claim at the top of my article -- that it lacks inline references -- is no longer true. How can I get it removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Multisyl (talkcontribs) 01:25, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note first of all that there is no such thing as "my article". See WP:OWN for more on that. To answer you question though, you can simply remove the tag at the top of the article by hitting the edit link at the absolute top of the page and removing the template. It would help if you told us what article you're specifically talking about. Thanks, Dismas|(talk) 01:27, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I would guess that it's the Word Workout article, currently at AfD. Mjroots (talk) 07:27, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Multisyl, you might want to leave a note at the article's talk page if/when you remove the tag. If someone thinks that a certain part still needs some refs (or better refs - ie if (s)he thinks that yours doesn't passWP:RS), (s)he is more likely to point you to the ref/part in question if you do so, and less likely to revert your deletion.
"Note also that maintenance templates like that are not removed automatically even when the issue has been dealt with." (ukexpat's words yesterday, on a related topic)

How do I change a photo?

[edit]

Hello,It

I would like to change the photo for Russell Crowe on his wikipedia page. It is very old (6 years), and I have several new ones to choose from that would enhance the page. Thank you.

Most published photos are copyrighted and cannot be used in Wikipedia. Did you take the photo and own the copyright? If not then where did you get it and what is the license? PrimeHunter (talk) 02:30, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit

[edit]

Where has the "Edit" tag gone to please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.211.208.252 (talk) 09:25, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's there for me, and presumably was for you on this help desk. Are you talking about a particular article? Perhaps the article is semi-protected? --ColinFine (talk) 09:40, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Signing

[edit]

I cannot sign my posts in the talk pages with the 4 tildes? Why?Aldrasto11 (talk) 11:43, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well your sig seems to work here at least. I'm not sure but maybe someone has left a nowiki-tag unclosed? Zakhalesh (talk) 12:01, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Can you give an example of such a talk page? If you sign your own talk page then a link to the talk page will be bold and not link. This is a general feature described at Help:Self link. PrimeHunter (talk) 13:18, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Other than here, the only other time you have edited a talk page recently is on 23 March when you edited the Aldrasto11 talkpage, and signed it without problems. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 18:44, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The page for the composer Benson Taylor has a copyright message on there. How do I get this removed,

Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.14.87.74 (talk) 12:34, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is an upcoming movie that is part 3 to the Kill_bill series. IMDB confirms this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1521225/combined. Should there article about it? Also according to this article: http://www.movieweb.com/news/the-scorpion-king-3-begins-shooting-in-thailand The_Scorpion_King_3:_Rise_of_the_Dead is going to be theaters in December 2011. Should that be noted in the article? Thanks! Neptunekh2 (talk) 23:00, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See the Forthcoming section of Kill Bill. It discusses parts 3 and 4. -- kainaw 23:02, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe - but, is "movieweb" a reliable source? It looks like anyone can add news there, so maybe not. Has the fact been mentioned in a newspaper - something with a 'reputation for fact-checking and accuracy', and 'editorial control'? If you think that "movieweb" page might be a good source, then maybe check on WP:RSN.  Chzz  ►  07:03, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
