- Can I get a map that has all the trujet destinations within India? (This is a complete new map) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yellow alligator (talk • contribs) 19:32, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
- Discussion
- @Yellow alligator: Done. I have created a Kartographer map to show the data in the table on TruJet. These maps are easier to update and maintain than image-based maps and work well in this type of situation. You can copy the code above and use it in the article. Information on how to control how the map looks is available at Template:Maplink. If you have any questions, let me know.--AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 00:16, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- @AntiCompositeNumber: ok thanks. I’ll let you know if there’s any issues.
- @AntiCompositeNumber: Wait how do I edit the map? I looked into the code but I don’t see any way to add or delete destinations. Just wondering because you know it’s a airline and they keep adding and removing routes.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Yellow alligator (talk • contribs) 02:55, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Yellow alligator: Each line beginning with
|id=
defines a point on the map. The number beginning with Q is the Wikidata ID for the destination city, you can get it from the "Page information" or "Wikidata item" links in the sidebar of the relevant Wikipedia page. To add a new destination, copy the last line, increment the parameter number (22 to 23), and update the Wikidata ID. To add Paris, France, for example, you would add the line|id23=Q90|type23=point|marker23=airport|title23={{label|Q90}}
to the template. To remove a destination, you would just remove the line with the Wikidata item for that destination. Let me know if you have any more questions, and please remember to sign your posts on discussion pages with four tildes, like this ~~~~ --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 14:31, 8 May 2019 (UTC)- @AntiCompositeNumber: So how do I find out what the ID of the destination city is? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yellow alligator (talk • contribs) 19:06, 8 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Yellow alligator: It looks like you’re editing from the mobile website, so the link to Wikidata is not as easy to find as on the desktop page. To get to the page information table, add
?action=info
to the end of the URL. The Wikidata ID will be in that table. —AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 13:39, 9 May 2019 (UTC)

This map has several mistakes, which I would like to correct, but I don't know how to edit SVG files. So can anybody remove the texts and army routes of this file (except river names and the scale)? I need a "clean" map to make the changes. T8612 (talk) 01:29, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
Done Here's the file without text. It's quite easy to edit SVG files if you download an editor like Inkscape. --RaviC (talk) 10:17, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll try with Inkscape. T8612 (talk) 12:27, 14 May 2019 (UTC)

Move a map scale

- The foci of this map are Clark County, i.e. the big light area, and Louisville, i.e. the big dark area on the southern side of the thick line representing the Ohio River. Would it be possible for you to move the scale from the bottom right corner to the bottom left or to somewhere near the top, so that it's in an area that's not the focus? Seems to me that a scale should be in a place that's otherwise not particularly significant to the map. Nyttend (talk) 20:46, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
