- Wow, much better, thank you both so much for the wealth of sources and the beautiful new graphic! @LadyofHats:@Offnfopt:Should we overwrite the original, or just replace it in the articles?--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 02:14, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

- Okay, I've figured out-some are using the pokerchip in infoboxes in lieu of a flag, so I have cross-wiki replaced those uses in the text, except where the different languages forced me into visual editor, which I can't use. Thanks again, ignore these pings!--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 06:06, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Kintetsubuffalo: the pings didn't go through, in order for a ping to work when you add a ping you also have to put a new signature otherwise the system will think the pings are old and won't send them. Offnfopt(talk) 06:26, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

- Graphist opinion(s)
There's already the existing svg above. I notice the shade of yellow is slightly different to the picture you link, but a google search comes up with several different shades, as is often the case with road signs, due to camera settings, lighting, sign manufacturing, weathering etc... If you have a link for an "official" definitive shade of yellow then that can easily be altered. I'll ping Fry1989, since he created it, and does a lot of work with road signs, so may know more. -- Begoon 06:24, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hello. The yellow that I used is from the MUTCD, which is a federal document that standardises the colours for road signs in the United States. For printing actual signs it is Pantone 116. Fry1989 eh? 16:13, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Done Recolored based on the images link on the above site. Offnfopt(talk) 22:49, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Offnfopt:Thank you so much for doing these! The flag is perfect! The second image, sorry the website is not clear on this. It mentions the "World Badge...The World Badge, which incorporates the Trefoil, was first adopted at the 11th World Conference in Evian, France, in 1946 and features the gold World Trefoil on a blue background." and then in the next box with no image the "World Association Badge...The World Association Badge was Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, yadda-yadda, of the House Targaryen, the first of her name, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men." The round badge here on is the World Badge and matches the blue and yellow in the flag. That blue and yellow is the one we need. The blue-and-white is the association badge (big one toward the top right of the website), like a corporate logo, we don't have or use one here on Wikipedia, not sure I could make a case for fair use for it. Thanks for your hard work on both of these images!--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 02:05, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

- @Offnfopt: sorry to be a pest, I found two images that I had tagged at some point as needing to be colored similarly to these badges. If you still have the color scheme handy, and if/when you have time, please look at File:Comité de Enlace del Guidismo en España.png and File:Association des Guides du Burkina Faso.png, both of which need to be yellow/blue colormatched. My intention was to create a 0-pixel radius circle at the same width as the hand's stroke to hide the discontinuity where the hands join. That didn't display, so I used a 1-pixel radius circle instead, which looks fine on my machine, but not fine on Wikipedia. So if you could find a way to make that inner circle fully opaque, that would be great.
I suppose the real solution is to create a continuous path for those hands but I don't know how to do that. That would also work. -- Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 09:56, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

I combined the paths, with stroke-linejoin="round", which seems to work. -- Begoon 11:20, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- Very nice! I didn't know you could do that! Thanks! Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 14:32, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
- If you don't actually want a rounded join, just change that to stroke-linejoin="mitre" (or take it out) - Inkscape and Illustrator let you adjust the stroke join and end cap style in stroke properties, but I'm not sure what you use. -- Begoon 14:36, 27 October 2016 (UTC)

- @Mark McWire: Sorry for taking so long to get going on these. Please let me know what you think of the Nashville diagram now shown above; if it looks good to you I’ll proceed similarly with the others. - @Mark McWire: The last one already existed (you may have missed it because it wasn’t in the track-map cat, now remedied); since it‘s from the same set as some of the examples here, I assume it doesn’t need to be redone. Just let me know, though, if you’d rather have one that matches the others I’ve done WRT style & orientation.—Odysseus1479 02:15, 14 October 2016 (UTC)

- This is really better handled using the family tree template, as shown in Theban kings in Greek mythology#Royal House of Thebes family tree, since the wiki-code template will be easier to modify names and translate if needed. I will proceed with converting the raster graphic to the wiki-code template. Cheers, Mliu92 (talk) 21:22, 2 September 2016 (UTC)
