Your GA nomination of Aluminium

[edit]

The article Aluminium you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Aluminium for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. (talk page stalker) @Wehwalt: R8R has been inactive for almost two years. You can (also) ping me or perhaps Double sharp if there are any specific questions about the article. Complex/Rational 01:06, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to hear that, I enjoyed their work. If there's anything specific on TFA day, I'll ping you guys. Wehwalt (talk) 01:18, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I endorse addressing both ComplexRational and Double sharp if help is needed.
@Wehwalt: For what it's worth, I appreciate the notification. For now, I am indeed gone, but possibly when the weight of RL commitments has been lifted off my shoulders (oh when will that sweet day come), that could change. Thank you for the compliment on my writing.--R8R (talk) 13:44, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
September songs
my story today

Thank you today for the article, introduced (in 2015): "This article is about a radioactive chemical element. It has been one step away from this process since 2012, when its prose was heavily improved by a GOCE member. It became a GA a long time ago, and now, after recent edits, it's a sure great article. After additions in 2012 and 2015, it is definitely comprehensive (but still not featuring too much), and it should be interesting enough for those familiar with chemistry; however, some effort has been applied to make an article on a technical topic like this one readable even for those who are not."! - Nice to meet you again! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:16, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Gerda Arendt thank you for your kind words. I'm not sure if I'll be back exactly, but who knows.--R8R (talk) 02:07, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Aluminum use or application

[edit]

Hi, I agree that a separate article titled "aluminum uses" or "aluminum applications" is needed, and will begin working on that. Cheers, EliBigeez (talk) 15:29, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That's great to know, more power to you!--R8R (talk) 22:51, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
