Reason: This is the most comprehensive map of eastern North America made during the colonial era. It was used to define the boundaries of the newly independent United States at the Treaty of Paris, and to resolve numerous border disputes. Thanks to the Library of Congress, we now have a 11,686 × 8,255 pixel version of this important map. Warning: The file is 97MB.

Weak Support Uff, If you keep doing this they are going to set a max size requirement. ot readable in thumbnail, still not completely readable in the image page and takes some time to download. Weak support: This is exeedingly large, but I'm assuming that it is fairly close to actual size, as the text is of a good size when maximised fully. I have not viewed the whole thing (I'm on the bottom end of broadband, for a start...) but what I have seen is good- hence the weak. It's clear that there isn't a better way to illustrate this map.
