I'd guess they are reflective iridiscence, just like some bright butterfly wings and some silver-colored fishes. Check Google for other photos, they all show it, and the article states it has a bright blue streak around the eye and on the snout. --Janke | Talk 18:04, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
