Parasite was released in 2019 and made history by becoming the first non English-language film to win Best Picture in 2019. The style is the same as other existing FLs of this kind. Sgubaldo (talk) 14:52, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Support - I got nothing. Awesome work! -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 19:33, 21 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]- Tables need captions, which allow screen reader software to jump straight to named tables without having to read out all of the text before it each time. Visual captions can be added by putting
|+ caption_text
as the first line of the table code; if that caption would duplicate a nearby section header, you can make it screen-reader-only by putting|+ {{sronly|caption_text}}
instead. - For header cells (like "AACTA International Awards") which span multiple rows, the scope should be "rowgroup" and not "row".
- Please see MOS:DTAB for example table code if this isn't clear. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 09:15, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- @MPGuy2824, done. Sgubaldo (talk) 09:29, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Found a few more issues:
- Most of the dates are in dmy format, but i noticed "March 14, 2020" in one of the notes.
- There is a CS1 - multiple authors error in one of the refs.
- The director's image in the infobox is missing alt text. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 10:14, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- @MPGuy2824; done the first and last point. Could you point out which ref the error is cropping up on? I can't seem to find it for some reason. Sgubaldo (talk) 10:27, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- The sports.donga.com one. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 10:31, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- I've changed it, and hopefully that should fix it. Sgubaldo (talk) 11:52, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

- Question—is it normal practice for both the infobox and list to overlap this much? I'm a newbie to these kinds of lists. It feels a little redundant; the win/count info per award I feel could just be merged into the table. The totals I feel maybe could be left in the infobox. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 02:05, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Also the show/hide button in the infobox doesn't seem to be working for me; I tried a Chromium and Safari browser on Mac and neither worked. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 02:07, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- That's really odd, I'm not having this issue on either browser. Also, to me the infobox appears collapsed by default, so that only the totals show, not each individual nomination. Sgubaldo (talk) 09:09, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Hmm, to verify we're talking about the same things, I'm talking about the [show] button next to the Accolades header in the infobox. Also, I know each row in the infobox has only the totals, I'm saying listing the totals for each individual award circuit (I.e. AACTA Awards, AACTA International Awards, ARP Movies... etc) feels a bit redundant with the list in the body. I'm asking what you think about, if possible, only showing the totals bit at the bottom of the infobox: Wins 219 and Nominations 353. 104.232.119.107 (talk) 09:23, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, the [show/hide] button works fine for me; the issue has been brought up on the template's talk page. I think it's fine to show the individual totals, particularly as the infobox is (at least supposed to be) collapsed by default.
- Sgubaldo (talk) 09:56, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
- Ah! Ok, that all makes sense. Looks good to me then! 104.232.119.107 (talk) 13:34, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]- Regarding the Guinness World Records distinction of being the most awarded foreign-language film at the Oscars alongside Fanny and Alexander and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the 2022 version of All Quiet on the Western Front has also now tied the record according to this article from Slash Film. I know Guinness World Records noted the record back in 2020, but I'm wondering if it should be denoted that All Quiet on the Western Front has matched that record. I can see arguments in favor and not in favor, but I just want to get your take on it.
- Also, all movie titles in the references should be italicized as well per MOS:CONFORMTITLE.
That's all I have for now.
