I am nominating this for featured list because I have been carrying out changes to this list article, making it in line with other similar articles about international football. I think it's sourced enough for it to be considered for featured list. —Chrisportelli (talk) 13:52, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- Quick comment – References 3, 7, and 8 should have their publishers italicized since they are print publications. Giants2008 (Talk) 22:22, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I've worked on several of these international lists and got six promoted so far and I've typically found that it's easier to cut the lists into sections. Normally I cut off at 25 caps, while further lists can be created for players with lower caps then to manage the content size. This list already has more than 300 players and is only going to grow. Perhaps worth considering? Kosack (talk) 15:51, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Source review
[edit]- ref 10 link broken
- Mamrud, Roberto ref missing date
- Everything else looks reliable and well formatted. Obviously not much to say due to the reliance on EU-football.info. Aza24 (talk) 07:26, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Drive-by query: What makes "EU-football.info" a reliable source? Harrias talk 09:48, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comments from TRM
[edit]WikiCup points claim etc
- I agree with Harrias' comment above, can you demonstrate the reliability of eu-football.info?
- "The first goal was scored" firstly this is ambiguous because I assume you mean the first Maltese goal as opposed to the first goal in the game? In any case, it would be perfectly cromulent to include both Malta's goalscorers instead of just one.
- Cauchi is red-linked in the table but not linked in the lead, that's inconsistent.
- "opponent has been" is.
- Image caption is a complete sentence so needs a full stop.
- "more than 300 players" presumably we know exactly how many?
- Times of Malta, The Malta Independent etc are works.
That's it for me. The Rambling Man (Hands! Face! Space!!!!) 10:34, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Chrisportelli are you intending to return to this review? The Rambling Man (Hands! Face! Space!!!!) 13:50, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- @The Rambling Man: it looks like the nominator hasn't been active since 12 July, perhaps time to consider closing the nomination? Aza24 (talk) 07:36, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
