Expert review |

This is a place where English Wikipedia community members can vote on which articles to select for inclusion in the list of articles for expert review so that they can be checked for factual accuracy and coverage by a reviewer. Coordinators are responsible for evaluating consensus expressed through votes and listing articles if appropriate.
Anybody can nominate an article for selection. However, a couple of restrictions apply on which articles may be nominated; articles must be:
- about a scientific subject, with an associated recognised academic discipline findable on "List of academic disciplines"; and
- technically presentable (ie., written in accordance with the Manual of Style).
Technical presentation is very important, as expert review focuses on factual accuracy and coverage. Reviewers should need to review only what is written in articles, not how they are written.
- How to nominate an article
- Ensure that the article in question meets the conditions laid down above.
- Copy the following text into your clipboard:
=== [[{Article}]] === {Why you think the article should be reviewed. Remember to sign using four tildes ("~~~~").} ==== Support ==== # ~~~~ ==== Oppose ==== Please provide a valid reason if you oppose this article being reviewed. <!--#-->
- Edit the "Nominations" section below.
- Paste the clipboard where directed by a hidden comment within the section.
- Fill out all the fields between braces, and remove the braces after doing so.
- Save the edit.
- Voting
- You can either support or oppose an article for selection. However, you are required to provide a valid reason for your position if you oppose.
- Voting takes place until one week after the article is requested for selection.
- How to accept/reject an article for review (coordinators only)
- Remove the entry for the article from this page.
- Evaluate the votes. If there is extreme-majority support for the article to be reviewed, follow the instructions on the reviews list.
