Function details: Generates an SVG graph comparing the number of articles on Spanish Wikipedia and Enciclopedia Libre Universal en Español, and saves it to File:Enciclopedia Libre and Spanish Wikipedia article count.svg. Historical data was calculated from a chart on the Enciclopedia page; future data will be retrieved from the statistics for each site. This is mostly the same function as the previous BRFA, just with a different data source.
Discussion
[edit]It would be wise if the raw data is also posted at either a sub page of the image or at the description file page directly. If anybody will update the article, it is likely that the stats table at the article will get removed. mabdul 21:38, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- The bot doesn't actually get the data out of the table. This program, which contains a copy of the data from the table, is run once to save all the data out of the chart into the data file, which is then updated with the latest data every time the bot runs. I only mention the chart since that's where the historical data came from originally. — Wolfgang42 (talk) 21:58, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
