Function details: Purge/forcelinkupdates files in Category:Non-free files with orphaned versions 1/day to ensure correct inclusion into Category:Non-free files with orphaned versions more than 7 days old.
As with many of this bot's previous tasks, we have a maintenance template which puts affected files into categories based on time-dependent calculations, and MediaWiki isn't smart enough to notice those change without a kick in the pants. Many of the previous tasks explain this issue at greater length. I continue to monitor the relevant bugzilla bugs.
Note: This most similar to task 7.
