Function Details: After T:DYK is updated this bot will tag the talkpages of the authors and nominators with {{UpdatedDYK}} or {{UpdatedDYKNom}} as appropriate and tag the talkpages of the articles with {{dyktalk}}. To keep the human-element of DYK credits the bot will copy the signature of the admin who adds the next update to the queue (this will be specified as a parameter of the {{DYKbotdo}} template) and has the capability of posting a unique comment for each author/nominator (such as Good work, Well done etc.), which is specified as a parameter of {{DYKmake}}/{{DYKnom}}.

Discussion

Can the approved hooks also be added? Sometimes, I see loads of DYK messages on talk pages, but I find it hard to figure what the speciality of the DYK article was. =Nichalp «Talk»= 10:50, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
