Summary:
[edit]User:Ygwnkm's account has been used only to repeatedly insert an external link into a single article. The link violates both "don't link to forums" and "conflict of interest" (Ygwnkm is pretty clearly Young-Won Kim, the head of the forum.) I have left detailed edit summaries and two messages on the user's talk page describing why the link is inappropriate. Without discussion, the user simply reposts it without any description of why it is worth including.
Discussion:
[edit]Hi, Nposs. I'll be advocating for you. My advice would be to file at WP:AN and get an admin to look at this post haste Geo. 01:22, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Another editor has reverted the latest edit. I think I'll to see if it sticks. Thanks for your help. I'll follow up. Nposs 02:01, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, he's back as Special:Contributions/58.143.172.67. I'd enter it into WP:AN. Nposs 02:40, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
- Did AN work? Geo. 22:41, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- It did. Unfortunately, the user decided to use multiple sockpuppet accounts to continue posting the link and was unwilling to engage in meaningful discussion. I did appreciate the quick and thoughtful response from the many administrators. Thanks for following up. Nposs 23:15, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, do you still need help or should I close the case. (Sorry to have to ask) Geo. 20:29, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
