Speedy deletion nomination of Before you write your novel
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Before you write your novel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Masked Adversary, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/m/james-mccreet/masked-adversary.htm.
It is possible that the bot was mistaken and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) CorenSearchBot (talk) 09:07, 20 March 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove speedy deletion notices from pages you created yourself, as you did at Before you write your novel, you may be blocked from editing. This page will be deleted as it is unambiguous advertising. I suggest you do not waste your time. HappyValleyEditor (talk) 09:31, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The Vice Society
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Vice Society, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Promotion of James Mcreet works
[edit]Hello! I had a look at the pages that you have created, and they all support James Mcreet. They have the appearance of what we is called a "walled garden" in Wikipedia: a set of pages that link together to creat false importance for the subject. I would like to suggest that you have a look at WP:COI and carefully familiarize yourself with the conflict of interest guidelines. You should also perhaps have a look at the tags mentioned above in the speedy deletion notices (promotion, unambiguous advertising etc), as Wikipedia is solely an encyclopedia for notable works whose notability can be clearly established by external references. Also, it is considerdd to be very bad form for the creator of a page to remove a speedy deletion template. This is because wikipedia is not a web host for someone to single-mindedly advertise their product or idea, but rather a platform for the collaborative creation of knowledge that uses the opinions of many to create concensus on what and who is notable. Happy editing! ..... HappyValleyEditor (talk) 09:55, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hello. I am sorry for late reply. It might look like an ignorance but I didn't get any notifications through my e-mail. I also struggle a lot with finding out how to actually reply to messages or post comments on Wiki. Also sorry for deleting your comments about Speedy delete. It wasn't intentional. I wasn't even aware that someone else is looking at the page I was creating at the same time. The Times Literary Supplement also wrote about McCreet and there are plenty of other reviews that you can read http://jamesmccreet.co.uk/tls.html. Does it make any difference? I am happy to rewrite the pages. I would be grateful if you could send me everything what was deleted. Thanks a lot Zuta (talk) 19:01, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
- Hello! Don't worry about the formatting of replies, it takes time to figure out! I formatted your reply above, I hope that is OK. See the un-deletion discussion page, as there was a question as to whether you have a connection with the author James Mcreet.HappyValleyEditor (talk) 19:30, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
