About Draft:Comics Gaming Magazine
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Comics Gaming Magazine a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into C&G Magazine. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 23:35, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, I did not know this was how it was supposed to be done, I am happy to delete everything here, I just noticed I had the complete wrong name of the submission so was trying to correct the mistake. Zune4ever (talk) 23:40, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- For the future, how to I delete the old page and make a new one to avoid this sort of issue. Thanks so much for the help! Zune4ever (talk) 23:44, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- For the future, when you move a draft to the mainspace, add the template{{AFC Submission}} to the article and the article can be reviewed by another user. If you'd simply like to move an article, you can use the process outlined at WP:MOVE. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 23:54, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help! I will ensure to do that going forward! Still learning here, but want to do my best! Zune4ever (talk) 23:58, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- Not a problem! Feel free to reach out to me on my talk page if you have any questions. Happy editing! — Mikehawk10 (talk) 00:00, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
- It is a great help! I will make sure to be more diligent moving forward to not run into these issues! Thanks again! Zune4ever (talk) 00:02, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

American English and British English
[edit]I notice that you are making a lot of edits on typos and grammar. Please keep in mind the differences between American English and British English. Check to see which English an article uses before making an edit. For example, your edit to The Humans (film) because you changed the spelling of a word from American English and British English (the article is tagged with using American English). Please check before editing. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 03:09, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the note, I will check and make sure to be aware of that going forward. Zune4ever (talk) 03:32, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Widr. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Shakti Singh (actor)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Widr (talk) 20:13, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
- I simply changed the grammar that was a bit awkward on that post. If you feel this state works better, that is fine. I just want to make the grammar, punctuation, spelling and overall structure as good as possible. Zune4ever (talk) 20:36, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
- I just saw the edit you meant, that is my browser causing an issue, I did not intend that issue to slip though, thank you for reverting it! Zune4ever (talk) 21:07, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
- I saw the comment you removed. Here's my question: why is the version of TechRaptor you created extremely similar to a draft made internally by an undisclosed paid editing company? GeneralNotability (talk) 23:25, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- @GeneralNotability I based most of my notes on the site, and details from articles on the site. I read the site and tried to make my edits based on what I found by the site. I saw the article was taken down for not being notible so figured I would let it go.
even though I read it, I figured it was just not up to scratch. I had no idea it had a draft or something from some paid company, but if they were doing that, I had no idea, and very much do not think that is acceptable.
thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I am truly frustrated this sort of thing happens. thanks for reaching out and asking to clarify, that was very kind of you. I am sure managing bans and such is not easy, so giving me a chance to talk is very appreciated! Zune4ever (talk) 02:48, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
- @GeneralNotability I should also note I am very embarrassed my edits where so close to the articles and info on the sites, that is one of the first rules in writing, and it is disctaceful to take too much from a source. Zune4ever (talk) 04:40, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
