[edit]Ah, yeah... sorry about that. Figured I'd keep the one in your userpage; I don't think it actually qualified under blatant advertising.
Anywho, what you need to do is establish notability for the subject - a quick google of "Military Child Education Coalition" yields ~12,000 hits, so that shouldn't be hard. The relevant policies to check up on are Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Citing sources. Just message me on my talk page (email probably not necessary) if you need any help with those.
Although a quick run-down of notability: the article needs to address that it is a well-known institution, and that info needs to be backed up with reliable third-party sources (like anything in the .mil or .gov, I'm thinking). For the moment, I don't actually recommend reading the article about citing sources, since it's a huge mess. Instead, an article that has a table of contents like this will do:
Lead paragraph
History
(etc)
References
External links
And just pile the references under that header. I'd also recommend putting square brackets around obvious things like [[National Guard]], just to provide a map of other articles to go to. At any rate, I'll keep a watch on your page and wikify it here and there :-) Xavexgoem (talk) 22:54, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of User:Ztrautman
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Ztrautman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
