License tagging for File:YkaTW4821257-01.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:YkaTW4821257-01.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:06, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
Bergeron
[edit]Where did you see that the Falcons released him? And when updating the roster templates can you update the date and count if needed. And instead of saying "Haynes signed, Bergeron released" in your edit summary can you use something like "RB Verron Haynes signed, WR Troy Bergeron released". Thanks.--Giants27 T/C 21:13, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Naaman Roosevelt, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. mhking (talk) 02:48, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Linking and copyrights
[edit] When adding links to material on an external site, as you did to Steve McNair, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
- If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
- If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
- If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. - ALLST✰R▼echo wuz here 05:48, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- The second external link you added about McNair back in the day is owned by NFL.com and not Baltimore Ravens so you can't link to Baltimore Ravens site for it. If you can find it on NFL.com or any other NFL owned site, you can link to it. Thanks. - ALLST✰R▼echo wuz here 05:58, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
An editor has nominated Selvish Capers, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Selvish Capers and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Giants27 (c|s) 15:07, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Darian Stewart
[edit] Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding
{{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. PROD tags
[edit]Stop adding this to pages that clearly are notable. Do a little research. Dont be bitter because most of the pages you created were deleted.--Yankees10 01:14, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- Related to that:
- if you place a PROD tag on a page, please use the wikicode
{{subst:prod|reason}}
instead of copy&pasting an expanded prod template from another article, otherwise the date timestamp will be incorrect - if a PROD is contested, the next step would be a deletion discussion. It's no longer eligible for a proposed deletion if it was contested once.
- if you place a PROD tag on a page, please use the wikicode

Speedy deletion nomination of Khalil Jones
[edit]A tag has been placed on Khalil Jones, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Zta! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 335 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
