A tag has been placed on The Voice Business, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello, Zahir Ak. You have new messages at Zahir Ak's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Hi, When I first wrote this article I felt it was a 'praising' or 'boastful' at times but I really don't feel that it is promoting it or advertising. Anyway, if you could just help me out and just point me to the right direction for just this instance to fix this I would be grateful. Sincerely. Zahir Ak (talk) 19:39, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The chief problem I see with the article is that it makes a fair number of claims, and cites them with references to articles in some nice impressive looking magazines, but when one checks the references, one finds that they do not verify the cited claim at all. For example:
  1. Claim: presentation training and overall soft-skill training grew and The Voice Business had found its market
Citation: Juliet Jordan's profile at RMK Voices, which mentions nothing about "soft-skill training" or any other such thing.
  2. Claim: By the year 1994, The Voice Business had created its own brand and system, officially naming it ‘Speaking to Win!’ the same year.
Citation: What do you sound like?, an article written by Juliet Jordan in Sold magazine (a trade publication of the Australian realtor industry) which does not mention the "Speaking to Win" brand at all.
  3. Claim: today has a most well rounded array of courses and services for personal and skills development and training.
Citation: Enter Stage Fright, an article from Australia's CIO magazine detailing the need for public speaking skills in which Jordan and The Voice Business are mentioned and called on as sources, but which says nothing about the "well rounded array of courses" offered by The Voice Business.
I could go on and on. The point is that when you pepper your article with false sources like this, one questions your motives in creating the article in the first place. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:52, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your use of multiple Wikipedia accounts

[edit]

Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Zahir Ak, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
