Welcome

[edit]

I replied to you on my talk page. There was no problem with your user page, just your other edits. Ursasapien (talk) 10:24, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

'Welcome!' (We can't say that loudly enough!)

Hello, Yoyo24, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might find helpful:

If you have any questions or problems, no matter what they are, leave me a message on my talk page. Or, please come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Please sign your name on talk pages and votes by typing ~~~~; our software automatically converts it to your username and the date.

Vandalism

[edit]

Thank you for your contribution to Cannabis (drug), but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the Sandbox to get started. Thank you.Ursasapien (talk) 10:08, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page Dane Cook on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.Ursasapien (talk) 10:13, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Ursasapien (talk) 10:15, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: yo

[edit]

I replied to you on my talk page, but I decided to reply here too. First, I can't block anyone, as I am not an administrator. If someone is guilty of repeated vandalism, you or I or any other editor can request that an administrator takes action. You are more than welcome to contribute to any article. The best way to be taken seriously is to have some source/reference for the material you add. Glad to have you aboard. Again, please sign your post. Just type the tilde (~) four times and it will automatically put in your name and the date/time. Feel free to ask me any other questions you have. Sincerely, Ursasapien (talk) 10:56, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
