I posted in the deletion discussion page:> *Merge. Reporting aviation incidents and safety errors helps to prevent the more notable category of accidents. As for anecdotal, both the Czech air safety report and news reports document the incident. However, by WP notability this subject may not merit own article entry. Perhaps it can be used elsewhere. See 2 current mentions: (1) as as an example in Deliberate aircrew inaction under Aviation_safety#Human_factors, and; (2) reference to incident made within Smartwings article. • Yohananw (talk) 10:28, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Talk:Jihad Watch. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! Information icon Hi Yohananw! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kevin MacDonald (evolutionary psychologist) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 21:27, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Yohananw. I noticed that you appear to have approvingly quoted neo-Nazi Richard Spencer on Talk:Jihad Watch, in a post that was rightly reverted: [1]. In the interest of assuming good faith, I will assume that you weren't aware of the political views of this figure. In the future, please take care to avoid –– whether intentionally or not –– creating a hostile atmosphere by quoting neo-Nazi figures in this way. You may find it helpful to review WP:NONAZIS, an essay with widespread community support. Thank you, Generalrelative (talk) 01:28, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Generalrelative: FYI, that quote was actually Robert B. Spencer (who runs the website 'jihadwatch.org' mentioned in the post), not Richard B. Spencer. For obvious reasons, this is a very common mistake. Neither Spencer is reliable, and the deleted comment was still inappropriate either way, of course. Grayfell (talk) 23:22, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks to Grayfell for pointing out this error. I've struck my remark, though just to clarify: Yohananw's comment referred to Richard Spencer, not Robert [2] –– though yes, I imagine this is indeed a common mistake. In any case, I will endeavor to take greater care in the future. Generalrelative (talk) 00:02, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Yohananw. This is in regards to your recent edits at OceanGate. I see you're a fairly experienced editor, so rather than slapping a {{uw-elinbody}} template on your page, I'll just leave a link to WP:ELNO so you'll (hopefully) understand why I requested that those edits be undone. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 16:03, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
